I've just read the article properly and I can't understand why it wasn't thrown out of court once she admitted she had made it up. Why did it even get to court when there was no evidence other than what she said? Am I missing something?

Am after some advice, need to buy some suncream for baby as the weather is starting to getting sunnier and warmer, I know it has to be factor 50 but not sure which one to go for?
Also when dressing baby in the hotter weather do I still put a vest under babys clothes or just put the clothes on without vest?
When Alice was very small I used to put her in either a dress or a vest if it was very hot.

I've almost never used sun cream on her as I usually make sure she is covered up or in the shade. But that's just because I didn't want to put chemicals on her skin unless it was absolutely necessary.

    Evening!

Won't be on for long, still got lunchboxes and bottles to do.

Had about 4hrs sleep last night - just what you need first day back *rollseyes*

Work was good but only induction so boring health & safety, fire safety, fraud stuff yada yada yada.

Jack was fine when I left him - gave him a kiss and a wave and when I left he had a smile on his face :) He has a cut on his nose though and didn't have his milk but demolished a second tea when he got home!
Apparently he was a bit of a handful trying to climb on top of the other kids! And as there was only 4 LO's in they took them out in the double buggies to the park.
They put some suncream on his head and its rubbed his hair away

    Loving the pics ladies! :)

Elle - how cute is Rhys??? :D (thanks for the text)

Kindof & SM - good luck vibes for jobs and interviews

I've just had to update my photo on my driving licence as it was 10yrs old :o I will soon have a licence which makes me looks like a convict rather than a moody teenager :rotfl:

Right, I'm off. I need to fake tan my legs cos I was boiling in trousers today and my legs are white as a sheet!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

Hello everyone! Thought I would venture over to the parent thread seeing as I am now a mummy! My baby girl is 6 weeks old, can't quite believe I am a mummy.
And can I be nosy and ask why you had an elective caesarian? (Just because I'm interested and since it's in your signature I'm assuming you don't mind being asked but don't feel obliged to answer if you don't want to.)

I like the name Sophie BTW. (I was just trying to work out why it never made it into our list and then I realised it's because it begins with S.)

Jolene - not sure if there's much difference to be honest, so long as you get the kids' sunscreen because that doesn't have stingy chemicals in it that adult ones tend to. Boots were doing BOGOF recently so we got 2 bottles of their own brand 50+ for a tenner. If you have an Avon rep you know of/close by, Avon do sunscreen for £5, so very MSE.

I don't know Susan, maybe because they were older boys and they exposed themselves to her? I can't fathom it.

    Hello,

I have had previous abdominal surgeries in the past for a bowel disease which I suffer from. My consultant thought it would be much better for me. I have had my large intestine and bowel removed, have a internal pouch which acts as my bowel. The thought was the strain of a natural birth would put too much strain on my insides (well whats left of them!).

I was actually petrified of having the section because I would be awake during it, but actually I was alright, it was amazing experience to be awake and see Sophie appear in front of me! Didnt enjoy the recovery though in hospital or the pain!

I am doing well now though, as soon as I got home I felt much better, was in hospital nearly a week. Still be careful not to do any heavy lefting or too much, but am walking more now, went for a very long walk on saturday.
