good for saving up, fitz. We're going to a party tonight with light nibbles that is basically going to be dinner, so no idea how on earth i will try and calculate that!! Hopefully there will lots of carrot sticks or something. Yummy hors d'ouevres are a major weakness. I'm also nervous about leaving finn with mil in charge, but it's only for a couple hrs and he should be asleep the entire time!

    No idea SJ, sorry.

Someone's just asked an ebay question about an item sized at extra small starting with "the t shirt looked fairly big in the picture" ... that is because it's a CLOSE UP. Should I stand far away from small things to make them look proportional?

    Morning all..

    *hugs* as required

I'm having a massive clothes washing day today. Finally got everything out of storage that I put away when I was pregnant, have gone through it all, worked out what fits (not a lot), what to keep (not much) and what to eBay (lots). Now it all needs a wash to freshen it up, then there is going to be a huge ironing session (*faints*) and then some how working out how to fit it in my minimal wardrobe space.

OH is in charge of Rhys for the day so I'm hoping to get a fair bit of housework sorted too.. Got the patio doors and all the windows open :D The garden isn't all that tempting to sit in at the min as it's full of weeds - which oddly seem to have grown so much more since OH put high strength weedkiller on them the other day!

Tomorrow we're going out to a fun day thing at the beach in aid of Help For Heroes :)

Hope everyone has a nice day :) xx

    Morning,

It's such a nice day here, Isla's in a summery outfit and smothered in suncream so she smells like holidays and babies mixed together, my two favourite things :rotfl:

SS - I hope Mr SS gets home so you can get to work and not have to worry about Molly. And of course that he's feeling better. Thank you for telling me about your brother too.

SJ - I think you must remove the calories from your cakes before you eat them as you look fab. If I was baking all day I'd be the size of a house! Ooops about missing the party though.

Caz - hope your not too tired today.

James had a stable night and is responding to his meds well :A

Good morning everyone. I love summer. :D

I've been out early and cut the outside hedge - almost finished when the battery on the clippers died, so waiting now for that to charge up.

Now i'm supervising sleeping baby while OH is out jetwashing the cars.

We had a lovely day out yesterday, at the park for a picnic, then walked to the beach for ice cream. The ducks/geese at the park were scarily friendly , following us around and poking their heads into our picnic bags looking for munchies!

I was a very good mummy and covered V in sun cream, and put her hat back on every 3 minutes, but forgot about myself so I now have ridiculous red shoulders/arms. :(

I think i'll do some outdoor ironing this afternoon - I hate being in the house when it's sunny.

Hugs & vibes for wee James - it's good to hear he had a good night. :A

SS I love bizarre questions on ebay! OH has had his car on there, BMW M3 conv., and has mentioned in his description he'd possibly part-ex, for something bigger, fuel efficient and more practical. He's had offers of a Smart Car for 2 and a two seater Audi up to now!

If you break the cake in half before eating then all the calories jump out!:rotfl: whereas if you just bite it then they all fall in your mouth:p

I think ill have a lie on the seatee soon as i know Charlie will be hyper when we get there with uncles and grandad to wind him up and then moan when he wont calm down or hurts them  need to get organised as im still in pjs tidying up! OH is away out to buy my birthday present, but is away blind as i didnt have anything i really wanted this year lol!

good news on baby James xx

    WE HAVE NEWS!!!!!

It's not great news but it's good news. There's a problem with his gallbladder, which is not great news, but he can come home tomorrow barring any sudden temperature/BP/pain spikes, which is good news :j

Molly and I are off to the hospital imminently to bring him lunch and celebrate with him.
