Well, J went straight down tonight, not had much milk today but think thats the heat so I'll give him a dream feed. Just trying to cool down his 30 degree bedroom  He's in a vest with a thin sheet over him for now.
So much for a film! Bl00dy footy's on! So I'll start my new Twilight book Eclipse!
I lurve reading these books cos I have the lovely image of Edward Cullen in my head while I'm reading :smileyhea

Some one with a worse memory than me.:D
Glam, Welcome to my world.Think his early mornings are rubbing off on J - no way I will function next week if he's up at 5.30am every day
Hammy, did the doctor ring back about the formula for David?
Have one little monkey looking over my shoulder whilst I type. One bad thing about him being an excellent reader at the age of 6. Bribed him home from cricket with promises of macdonalds happy meal and a mcflurry and BGT. Except no BGT, only more stupid football. He is now supposed to be watching lord of the rings, but annoying me instead. Think it's time he was put to bed.
He just said nah to me when he read that. :rotfl:0 -
Evening all. I feel like I've walked miles today. I've not walked far at all, but I have been doing lots of stuff - lots of work in the allotment in the sun (well, didn't get THAT much done, but achieving anything when I'm there on my own with Izzy deserves a medal), a trip to Matalan to spend money MIL gave us for some summer clothes for Izzy, a bit of a tidy up here, and another trip to the allotment this evening to water. Izzy likes me to carry her while I am using the hose so she can stick her hand in the spray - it is the first time I have got the hose out this year, and I don't know if she remembers from last year? She is getting a bit big for me to carry her all the way round though!
I hope everyeone has been enjoying the sun!
SM - maybe you could suggest he does you some "vouchers" of things he could do for you? Then he can put some effort into thinking of things he could do. (I'm thinking of doing the washing up when it is really your turn, or making a yummy tea, but I'm sure his mind will be on the x rated ones

Both boys in bed. phew!
Been a hot one. Viewing area at the pool were Joe does he swimming lessons, was unbearabley hot, with no air at all. Had to drop OH off at cricket then take Joe to a party. Party was not far from town centre, so went for a mooch round. Joe had asked for some short pj's (like alex) and some sleeveless t-shirts and i wanted some kind of summer pants. Headed for primark. Got Joe sorted, and a pair of thin 3/4 cargo type pants for me. Wanted linen pants, but the full length ones were way too long and the 3/4 not quite right. It was total carnage in their, bomb site and heaving. Could do with going back tomorrow for a better look. But it'll never happen. Haven't even been food shopping yet, can't be bothered. Local asda is being revamped and it's a nightmare, should motivate myself to do an online shop.
Happy birthday for tomorrow, caz and SM.
Glam, OH was a total a5s on Wed and Thurs night. Really wanted to slap him hard, so you have my sympathy.0 -
Hello lovelies.
Absolutely gorgeous sunny day here. Took H to the in-laws for the day and they babysat him while I went to try my bridesmaid dress on and had my make-up trial. Good news is dress now does up, bad news is that it really doesn't suit me. H had a lovely time with his grandparents though, and it was a lovely place to be in the sun.
Boo- still sending lots of hugs to wee James. OH was just telling me about a 3 month old baby he saw today- it was born at 26 weeks too.
Becles- enjoy your holiday. I hope you get the chance to relax a bit while you're away.
Ladybird- your allotment sounds fun. I have loads of bedding plants that I need to put in tomorrow, so H can 'help' me do that.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator
