Glam Gorgeous! Did they hurt? I imagine the behind the ear one did? When I was getting one of mine done, a man was in getting something tattooed onto his shaved head - I had tears in my eyes!

Becles Glad your shopping trip was better! I've got Primark linen trousers from last summer - I loves them!

It's gorgeous here too - like summer! I've just started cutting the hedge, and the battery died on the clippers. :(

Believe it or not, the one on my wrist hurt more. I had that one done first and I had tears in my eyes, felt like someone was slicing my skin open for about 5 minutes. The one behind my ear didn't hurt at all! And no my brain didn't get all shook up either :p

Thanks everyone :D Just waiting for OH to come home - I think he'll think the one on myeck is a bit big cos I know what he's like. But hey, he paid for my birthday so happy days.

SS - It was a guy called Darren in St Helens - this is his facebook page
    http://www.facebook.com/pages/St-Helens/Artistic-Licence-Tattoos/260239607431?v=photos

Mine will be on there once they've calmed down and I send him pics. :D

Oh and he said plain old Vaseline - apparently if you put the nappy cream on too thick it can abosrb iinto the tattoo and fade it.

Som, if it helps I've heard that the other Sophie toys are nowhere NEAR as good as the teether, so not to bother. It's up to you, of course!

Nooooo! Don't say that, Isla's got half the Sophie display waithing at my mums house :rotfl:

Can't remember anything else, sorry...off to hunt for paracetamol methinks.

Hope your headache's gone Aless (((hugs)))
If he's happy and growing then it's not really a problem... And I don't know why she'd be worried about a baby pooing every day, most of them do don't they?!

That's what I'd have thought?! A slow poo day (oh how I never thought I'd say anything like that! :o) is less than three for monkey chops. She's always gone loads and now it honks because of the weaning.

Glam those tattoo's are fantastic! As soon as I finish BF'ing I'm having new tattoo's :)

James weighs 2lb and has talipes but we were expecting that, no more news yet and I'm hanging on to go over to the hospital. At the minute she just wants her mum and partner there.

Krystal - my cousin has never breastfed any of her other 3 children (hasn't attempted too, all have gone straight to formula) She really want's to try and feed James as she realises the importance of colostrum and apparently I've inspired her :o (I'm the first to BF in our extended family for about 20 years!) Is there anything I can help her with? I was going to make some flapjacks and I've got fenugreek tablets she can have. I'm so proud of her as delivery was a VBA3C, we were discussing just yesterday how she felt about it all and she really didnt think she'd be able to.

I went to clinic to get Caitlyn weighed today... she weighs a very petite 17lb 1/2oz and is just above the 2nd centile... She was 9lb8oz born and on 98th centile... I've never been concerned about her growth, and didn't take her to get weighed as often as the health visitor would have liked... Now she's nearly 1 they're not bothered by her at all... She's obviously just meant to be small...

If he's happy and growing then it's not really a problem... And I don't know why she'd be worried about a baby pooing every day, most of them do don't they?!
    wss!
He was a big baby it seems reasonable to me that he would slow down in his growing and unless the poo is like water then loose is normal for a baby only having milk.

There is clearly nothing wrong with Caitlyn, she is the cutest little thing ever and I'm pretty sure Ed agrees seeing as he knocked her over trying to give her a big snog lol. I really need to teach my boys that it's not the done thing to knock girls over because Chris does it to his 'girlfriend' too :p

    Jillie,

I hope you don't mind. I pinched your photo of Alex sitting and added it to my facebook page. So his dad can see it, as he just refuses to sit at home.:(

whoops! Glad I got in there first :p the power of MSE compers and Grabbit'ers

That psp thread is hilarious! it scares me that parents can think like that! I can't see an issue - apart from the parent being an idiot!

Glam I forgot to comment on ur tats, the one on ur neck is about twice the size I'd imagined! Glad you didn't get brain shake :D x

Boogellyboo - might elle be able to help? I'm guessing James is too small to direct feed yet? she needs to get skin2skin as much as possible and try feeding/pumping lots. Did you see the skulls wrap on wrapsody? its in the clearance section

Tattoos are lovely Glam! I would however recommend preparation H ointment (NOT cream) this is consistency of vaseline but also helps with swelling and stuff. Can't believe the neck one didn't hurt. The one on my foot was amazingly painful!

I need to go bake but it's too warm and I can't be bothered!
