KIndof, I would leave him in the swing. D is in his cot now but he is commando crawling top to bottom then gets his head stuck in the corner and cries :rotfl: . He has no interest in sleeping at all *needs rolling eyes smiley*

I also noticed SJ's beautiful, impractical shoes and thought what a posh/glam Mummy she is!
When I was little, my best friends Mummy always used to do her housework in high heels. My mission in life was to always do my housework in high heels - I failed!

Thank you but I'm definitely not posh and not really glam either! Don't normally look like that but fancied putting on something that went with my nice shoes! I most certainly don;t do my housework in them tho :rotfl:

I'm tired today. Didn't get to bed til almost 11 and that's late for me at the moment! Going to say goodbye to BIL's parents today as they go back home to Oz this afternoon. Then over to mee my pg friend. She was in hospital all wkend with suspected pre-eclampsia so be nice to see her.

Hammy wil you get a nap today?

    Dora nice break from work!

Oooh yeah and we booked our holiday for next year! Marbella for 10 days staying in BIL's girlfriend's family holiday apartment (DH's bro, not sis's hubby this time!) Flights for all 3 of us plus accomodation for £400 :money: :money: :money:

Sis and BIL are coming too so that helps with accomodation costs and it's a lovely big 2 bedroom apartment in a 5* complex. Ooh so excited!

Been poorly again in the night. My IBS is playing up. I woke up with pain at 2.20am and didn't get back to sleep after that :(

Off to work this morning, then going shopping again for holiday stuff (nightmare!) and going to get my hair cut this afternoon (another nightmare as I hate hairdressers!). Going to boot camp this evening and will work all my stresses out there :D
Here I go again on my own....

Morning all was playing catch up yesterday but was late ny the time I got to the end so apologies if I miss anything important this morning.

Love all the pics but especially those of littlies in the pall pits :D cant wait to do this with T (well I can cos I dont want her to grow up too quick but ya know what I mean!)

Kindof - T does the shakey head thing at times and I had always put it down to being hungry, she aleady has the bald patch :( its weird looking too cos she has really long hair under it.

Sleeping Bags, I have put T in a 1tog on the warm nights we have and open the bedroom window to get some air in, if it gets any warmer will give her vest a miss so she is just in sleep suit and sleeping bag.

EA - I tried the nytol a few years back and never found it worked! Hope you get some sleep soon, maybe its excitement/nerves about the wedding thats keeping you awake. Oh and big FUBAR from me I totally got all my dates mixed up for our meet and its the Wednesday I cant do (insert embaressed smiley). Can we move it back to the Tuesday or will that muck you up, if so let me know whats best for you x sorry x

Big get well vibes for poorly OHs

Big hugs for Tigs and Andrew and Marley x

Love the chat about Sophies :D I found a shop yesterday near us that sells them but she said they go really fast and to put my name down for the next delivery if I want one, as she is only 9 weeks I thought maybe its a bit early...any thoughts?

T is really loving her black and white cot book, I can now lay her in there if I need to do stuff and she stares at it for ages without fussing :D

Have baby clinic this morning to get T weighed. The HV said I can go as little/often as I like so we have started with fortnightly but as all we are doing is getting her weighed am thinking of just going monthly unless we have any issues, does that sound ok?

Guinea - havent started a sleep routine with T yet was going to leave it till she is 12 weeks but hope you get something sorted, best of luck x Am thinking of massage for T before bed instead of a bath as I like her been clean in the morning ready for the day.

SJ - those shoes are lush :D really wish I could do heals.

Finally picked up our L&G yesterday, its in really good nick so really chuffed, it even came with the box but dont think we will keep it. Now just gotta stash it for another 2 months lol.

Debating signing up for the GMTV boot camp diet, not that Ill get up for the TV in the morning lol but I need to do something, no idea how am gonna get rid of this flappy tummy tho!!!

Finger is finally starting to heal tho it looks like someone burnt me with a cigarette! Its no longer painful or bleeding and it doesnt matter if I get it wet, will be so glad to see the back of it, its been 7 weeks now :(

Ordered a big canvas pic of T from Photobox and there doing BOGOF so got MIL to go halves and got her one too then will hopefully get cashback from quidco too so bargin :D

Sorry for the me post x

    Morning all,

Lovely pics from yesterday. Although I was starting to think that Sami had just left her kids and gone back to bed or something, but eventually saw her in a photo!!

KOAG - We are in a 2.5 tog sleeping bag at the moment, with a long sleeved vest. Here is a website with guidance on what to wear for what temperatures in relation to sleeping bags.
With sizes, it depends where you are buying from. I bought a 6-12 month sleeping bag from Matalan when Holly was about 4 months as she was outgrowing the Next and M&S 0-6 month ones. The Matalan 6-12 months didn't even last past 6 months! The ones she is using at the moment are 6-18 months so plenty of room. The length doesn't matter, as long as his head cannot slip through the hole and he can wriggle down.

Hammy - does David have any toys in his cot to amuse him if he wakes up? Some nights, Holly is waking up quite a bit. She amuses herself for a while by putting her projector on so I can leave her to it even if she is awake. It's the first thing she does when I lie her down now - rolls onto her side and kicks the projector until it comes on!

Som - I don't think there is anything wrong with getting T a Sophie or some other toys just now. She might not play with them, but if they are there, one day she will surprise you by just going for them! And Sophie's are really easy for their little hands to hold and manouvre.

We have Baby Sensory today. It's miserable and wet so not sure what to do afterwards.
