SS I was thinking of having a barbie type doll hanging from the sling to be the captured woman :)

Gisi - Happy half birthday to my future sil ;)

I love how Sophie's a firm favourite with all our babies. Actually, Koag was asking about teethers on fb, has anyone pointed in Sophie's direction yet?
(I think this is the cheapest on ebay at present)

Aless I found it really strange having to eat more than I seemed to be eating before WW but it's eating the right things I suppose. I need to drop my points down now I suppose because we've started weaning. Booo!

    Hi everyone

Quick rant/question - Harriet goes to nursery on Weds so I can 'work'. Today they are doing a pedal push for NSPCC. Great. However as she can't ride a bike she is being pushed around in a buggy by a member of staff. Am i too tight for only collecting £8 for her (from me, hub and my mum) I'd make a bit more effort if she was actually doing it herself!

DK - I think it's fair enough that you haven't gone all out to get lots of sponsors. I seem to sponsor people all the time (it would appear that everyone I know is doing a 5k, 10k Race for Life etc), so I know what it's like having to sponsor everyone and you can't exactly say no! It's a good cause, but I would feel a little bit cheated having to pay money when the individual isn't actually doing anything. I could just donate the money to charity myself in that case! If it were me, I would probably do as you have done and just ask those closest, and perhaps contribute a bit extra myself out of duty and obligation. I would be a bit embarrassed to ask others as it puts them in a postition where they can't refuse.

Maz - I have taken a note of the product numbers for your bra as I will never remember the design. If anyone finds them, how many do you want (think Glam asked last night but not sure if you replied)?

Oh my, I totally can't believe I missed an opportunity to promote Sophie! Far and away the best teething toy ever made. Should I also mention the Antilop highchair at this point too? Probably two of the best recommendations I have received on this thread.

Sophie is a firm favourite here too, but Holly is also very fond of her teething keys. I think they are Nuby, but when I googled that, I found info on product recalls and can't find a picture of them. Hmm. They were from Asda anyway and beside the Tommy Tippee teethers, but I don't think they were TT.

Definately recommend antilop! I love that I can plonk it in the shower to get weetabix off it  MFD isn't here too so we should, I think it was MFD who pointed me in Sophie's direction too. I can't wait to visit my mum in August, Isla has a Sophie beaker, bath toy, teether ring and a book ready for her stay! Which will all go nicely in her Sophie changing bag :rotfl: If the exchange rate was better I'd be tempted to bring a few back to ebay.

I missed out on the Sophie changing bag and was gutted. They're pricey on eBay (France) :(:(

boo, I keep meaning to ask, have you seen this sling that you can wear swimming?! http://www.gypsymama.com/shop/proddetail.php?prod=water - I totally WANTS IT but it's not like we can afford to go to the beach this summer so shouldn't waste my money...except DH has to go to Fareham for something at the end of June, but that's not quite the same is it? :p
