That's what Alice did - the time fluctated quite a lot but gradually got later and then she stoped waking at all. The most tiring was just before she stopped sleeping through because with it being a shorter time till morning I didn't always go back to sleep.

Cool thanks, yeah I can see how that can happen, thats what its been like lately, cos hes been waking at like 4am and not getting back to sleep till half 5 well by then I am awake lol so I dont get back to sleep lol, apart from today

    Morning ladies,

Sorry but I won't be at the meet today :( The thing I thought might come up has and I need to be this side of Manchester not the other. Hope you all have a fantastic day and babies are all well behaved for their mummies :)

Huge hugs for Tigs, Marley & Andrew :grouphug: If Tigs or Marley see this and Andrew's at the same hospital he was born at, I've got to go up there later on so if you need anything dropping in just shout me.

Hope all the poorly babies and parent's are feeling better today too x x

Aless - Yay for starting WW, if I can stick to it anyone can. If you've got any question's just ask and I'll try to help. Thanks for the fancy dress tip too, it's for a festival in August and because Isla will be in the sling I'm thinking of being the Empire State building and Isla can be King Kong! On natural mama's we've all been trying to come up with good babywearing fancy dress as there's a few ladies from that site going too.

Fitz - thanks for the 1/2 birthday wishes!

    Hi everyone

Hope you all have a fun meet today, sounds like it'll be great. Can't believe it's 2 weeks since I met lovely Somnium and beautiful baby Tahlie. I've been busy doing a bit of freelance type stuff for my old work (which I'm trying to do today, hence why I'm on here) and fretting about when builders will start to rip my house apart - was due to start yesterday but that's an estimate apparently, so should be tomorrow!

Hope everyone is ok, think I missed Rhys's first birthday? Happy birthday to him and anyone else who has celebrated recently.

Quick rant/question - Harriet goes to nursery on Weds so I can 'work'. Today they are doing a pedal push for NSPCC. Great. However as she can't ride a bike she is being pushed around in a buggy by a member of staff. Am i too tight for only collecting £8 for her (from me, hub and my mum) I'd make a bit more effort if she was actually doing it herself!

Wow, that's a great idea! You are very inventive. I have no imagination when it comes to fancy dress ideas. I tend to avoid just avoid them!

As of Monday, I have been doing Scottish Slimmers, so Aless and I can play catch up with you and GISI! I think it's a bit like WW, but you just watch calories rather than fat content. You can eat what you want but have an allowance for essential free stuff each day - 2 portions of fruit, 1 calcium, 3 of veg, 8 glasses of water/tea/diet juice etc. I did it before and lost some weight. This time I am so fat, my calorie allowance is higher than before lol!!

Boo, what if you're King Kong and Isla is the female lead whose name escapes me?

Or one of your other babywearing mamas, I mean :)

Question, how do babies eventually not need more milk in the night? Like will E eventually start waking later than 1am for a feed till evenutually he doesnt wake at all?

That's what happened with us, although for the last two night Henry has woken up at 1am and 4am which is just a joy! I think it's because he has a blocked up nose which is disturbing him but who knows? I know I've said it before, but my baby's development isn't linear- he starts doing things, then stops, then starts again! Sleeping is definitely the most obvious example of this!

    Boo- Happy Half Birthday Isla.

Fitz- thanks for the birthday wishes. H is currently rolling around the floor in his Superman baby grow with a cuddly giraffe that we have named 'Sophie's Mummy'.

Aless- good luck with WW. I do think it is a great plan and not too hard to stick to.

Hmm I dunno then unless they didnt want E there, which isnt going to happen, I dont see why he shouldnt be at his great grandma's funeral, she doted on Elliot, one of the nicest things is the in laws had E on the sat night, and Emily came to theres on the sunday and theyve got her on video playing with him and him laughing, she had the heart attack the next day, so FIL (shes his mam) is so happy to have that on video. Plus we dont have anyone who could watch him even if we didnt want to take him.

I was starting to think that actually but didnt want to say!!

aww yay for 6 month old babies!

Fitz, we can keep each other good and only hope can do as well as gisi and boo. Good luck!! My ww points allowance is so high too b'c i'm heavier and bfing...eating that much will actually feel weird, as when i diet i've never followed a plan and just generally tried to eat less. I think i will be more inclined to follow something that i'm paying for though!!

Lol about sophie's mommy. Here sophie has a boyfriend of Mr Giraffe, but he can be a tad unfaithful at times :p also we also go back and forth with finn's development, namely sleeping here too.

Am proud of myself in that i have already put the laundry on, cleaned the bathroom and vacuumed the living room. Once milk monster is done here, am going to take him out into the garden for some sunshine and hang the laundry.
