Slowly. Plumber should be here tomorrow, then we can get walls erected. :D It is a slow project though, so I'm not too bothered.

    How are you?

slowly is ok I guess, as long as you haven't got everything in disarray in the meantime, or something horrid like no kitchen!

This is going to give you a second bathroom/loo, right?

I'm ok, sore throat and a bit under the weather. Really hoping Kez needs fewer night time feeds soon, but I'm aware it could be ages and ages yet! Fergie had dropped his night feed by now, so I've been spoilt, see ;)

has anyone tried having the little ikea spice holders that stick to a magnetic board/strip on your kitchen wall?

has anyone's little one had a haemangioma (strawberry mark) and did anyone have any treatment to stop it growing, like a cauterisation?

    Thanks for any thoughts :)

    Hi Weezl

Baby H has a strawberry mark on her hip, I don't think it's got any bigger though since she was born (well it might have grown with her slightly but it doesn't look any bigger proportionally).

Our GP at the 6 week check said that she could do something about it after either a year or five (I can't remember, one was for her slightly sticky out belly button and one for the strawberry mark) but none of them bother me or her so unless it was spreading in an intrusive way I don't think I'd bother. I think it's quite endearing.

Dunno if that helps, probably waffle as usual.

    How big is H's?

Kezzies is about the size of a 50p and grows quickly. I'm not too fussed at that size, but if it'll be as big as his whole torso, DH is concerned he might be embarrassed of it at school swimming lessons and the like...

Willy stairs 3 weeks or so. No disruption really. Having to clean and tidy and bin junk, but thats a good thing. It's long over due and easier to keep clean. Bit of disruption when the stairs go in because they go through the kids room. I think the kids and I are going to MIL to stay while they are going in.

Not tried fancy ikea spice holders, sorry.

I had a strawberry on my leg which was gone by secondary school and one on my eye, which you can still see when I'm tired. As far as I am aware, the best thing is to leave them alone. Keep them covered from the sun (but this may be outdated advice).

Weezl, hope you get better soon. Do you get a chance of a nap? And are you drinking enough? When your tried you need to drink lots and have an extra snack. I claim that tiredness made me fat rather then greed :p Though, there may be better snacks than chocolate biscuits...
