Shopping was a disaster. Saw a few things I liked in Primark but most of the displays seemed to have lots of 8-12 sizes and lots of 20+ but hardly anything in between.

Looking for casual trousers, shorts and bikini for holidays. Bikini needs to have big bottoms to hold my tummy pouch and an underwired bra. Plenty of stringy type bikinis and few underwired ones around. Couldn't find anything in my size. One in BHS wasn't too bad, but it had this big plastic square thing between the cups which dug into my chest, so I didn't buy it.

Tried on umpteen pairs of trousers and shorts but can't find any to fit. In Primark a 14 trouser was too tight but a 16 was massive. Tried on some shorts and both the 14 and 16 were too tight and an 18 was huge. In BHS a 14 was too big but a 12 was too tight. In M&S 14 too tight, 16 massive. Repeat in Dorothy Perkins, Wallis and New Look. Tried Evans but they hardly had anything in sizes that would fit me.

Gave up on the Metrocentre and went to the big Asda, but their holiday shop hardly had anything in it. There were about 6 stringy bikinis and a few pairs of shorts left but none in my size. Lady said the holiday season is over now?!

Dresses are either maxi dresses which are way too long for me, or bum skimmers and I don't feel comfy flashing that much leg. Wouldn't wear them with leggings as I really can't stand leggings! Couldn't find any sensible length dresses in my size.

Had a good clear out and binned most of the stuff in my wardrobe, so I've no idea what to do now. They don't seem to make clothing to fit curvy figures anymore :(

Charlotte had a strop because we were going to take the dogs out and she said she wanted a wee. She has to remove her shoes, socks, trousers and knickers to have a wee and refuses to have any help taking them off and putting them back on, so it takes forever to have a wee. I told her she was being ridiculous so I just pulled her stuff down and plonked her on the loo, and she refused to wee. Quite often she asks for the loo when we are out and once she gets sat on it, she says "wee wee gone now" so I assumed she was just playing up.

Took the dogs out and she wanted to hold them on the way back, but I said no as we were near the road. Cats live nearby and they pull hard if they see one, so it's too dangerous for her to hold them. She said she wanted to hold the lead or she would wee herself. I said firmly she wasn't holding the lead in case the dogs saw a cat, so she said "right I'll just wee myself" and she did

Also left a note for a DHL delivery to be left in the garage but they have taken it back to the depot. I need it for work in the morning. They cannot redeliver today and the package won't get back until about 5.30-ish tonight, and I have boot camp at 6pm. Hope it's back on time as I don't want to miss boot camp.

Just feel like bursting into tears now :(
Here I go again on my own....

Yes but it's a kind of beetroot red... Well, the bit that's not 2 inches of dark brown/silver grey root is anyway... Been meaning to do it for weeks now...

I won't though... For fear of marking your car lol...

Tia- Very happy for both you and Christopher

SS- So sorry that your OH is in hospital again. Nanny Krystal will be right over to help you with Molly. Ash depending of course :)

Have seriously depleted the nappy and wipes stock and as it's payday, its time to go stock up. Think it will have to be boots, as i just lurrve my boots points. But how come, there are no money off vouchers in my purse, when i know i have some?

    Thanks everyone :)

Krystal I would love help with childcare but fear that you would be stuck here under an ash cloud :o And yes, I think you should definitely colour your hair.

Hugs becles, if it helps I bought bikini separates from Littlewoods online with big shorts and an underwired halter top? I'd be  about the weeing too.

Jenny, add a spoon or two of honey and the juice of the lemon to some warm water and drink it. You can also eat spoonfuls of honey to soothe your throat.

Great news MFD, hope the scan goes well tomorrow.

    Jenny, depends what you like.

You can add some lemon juice and honey to hot water or make lemon tea and add honey.

Or make a hot honey drink and a cold glass of water with lemon juice. The hot/cold combo works for a sore throat. The hot works for a bunged up chest.
