No, pancreases don't come out. His gall bladder would be far less trouble

But I just lifted up the book I keep all my lists in, and he'd left me a gift underneath it - a copy of a very famous text in my field. I already have two copies of it but this one will be for best :D

yep, I think Chris will be fine in school. I'll be the one at the gates. Was fine when Michael went, but Chris is my special wee guy and I'm all tearful.

He's tired now though, past couple of weeks he has been having a sleep after nursery, so wonder how he will cope with full days again.

Sami, glad fairies found their way.

SS, do they know what has caused it? Cos usually it's long term alcohol abuse, but I don't think you'd have married a drunk. You like your shoes too much :p

Tia, nobody seems to be entirely sure and his liver's fine so there's no question of alcoholism. He cut off alcohol consumption entirely to speed up recovery, so although the hospital constantly treats him as though he was an alcoholic he isn't one. I was raging the last time, they tried to put him on medication to stop DTs - which he has never had, and when he refused the meds and didn't have DTs they ran an hourly BAC check although the one when he came in had no alcohol at all.

I suspect it's just a rogue pancreas because he doesn't fit the profile at all *shrug*

Poor guy, we can call him Dodgy Pancreas Man and he can wear his pants over his jeans.

Seriously, hope he gets better soon.

    And how is Mr.MFD?

Just nearly gave the baby some pasta for lunch then realised that is more than likely what she and Aimee will have for tea so she is instead, picking apart a cheese piece... And also trying to poke the cat with a buttery finger... That's what he gets for lying next to the highchair...

SS, do you have childcare issues to cover while DH is inside? Would you like the babba and I to fly over and help with anything Molly?

Would it be a foolish move on my part to dye my hair a very dark blue/black colour ahead of tomorrows meet?
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

Oh, guess who went to big boy school today and had loads of fun? Christopher!
Yay - go Christopher!!! You must be so pleased Tia!!

I have just officially negotiated a 'same money - less hours' contract with my boss  What a shame that I have actually been working practically the reduced hours since I came back after having Benjamin (well in the office at least). Still a 37.5 hour honest week is better than the 42 hour week that I should have been working :D

I have also planted the seed that I would rather have Time Off In Leiu than be paid for overtime...hope that this sinks in :D

He goes in for a brain scan tomorrow. I am taking the day off work to 'support him' *not at all to leave him to it and scurry off up to Manchester to meet you guys* ;)

*is glad her car has black seats*

    It's pretty dark anyway!!
