Oh, guess who went to big boy school today and had loads of fun? Christopher! He loved it, used his signs (and he is very good so I am told), was counting up to 5 and down from 5 (which is amazing for him) and was able to do sums totalling 5 (5 teddies take 2 away how many are left, that kind of thing). Got on with the other children, was chatting away to everyone and may have picked up a girlfriend. His favourite thing he says, was all the boys and girls doing signs and knowing what he was saying (with the help of signs).

Parents meeting tomorrow. I've a wee tear in my eye :D He just looked so at home and very happy. So, so happy that he got a place there.

Oh and, I'm not buying prams on ebay, I have a loft to do! tsk! (I did buy colour changing lights the other night)

MFD, the dizzyness is usually from the change of pressure in your inner ear. Blow gently ;)

    Oh that sounds naughty....

    ...

Alex has "issues" with dummies. He will only take the mam 0+ ones. The 6+ ones teat is slightly more rounded and it's just not good enough. Haven't been able to find any of the ones he will take in the local boots or asda. Will have to buy online.
i THINK i HAVE 2 OF THOSE (oops caps!) they have been shoved in Eds mouth on a few occasions but always spat straight out, shall I bring them 2mo for you?
Do you have astigmastism? I have rugby ball shaped eyes. That's why the toric lenses are needed. So that they curve correctly and fit to my eyes. That being said. At the time of getting the dailies, they didn't do the prescription I needed in one eye in the toric ones. So i had one eye with a toric and the other with a normal lense. Didn't feel any less comfortable though.
Everytime I ask about contacts for me I'm told I can't have them but they never explain why in a way that makes sense :( they always mention my astigmatism tho ??
Eczema can be linked to milk allergy can't it? How is Davids Eczema doing?
in case anyone is interested I'm 99% sure Cows milk is what affects Chris's eczema. He has goats milk all the time now and I limit his cows milk products but he starts itching within hours of having them when he does. The only reason he has them is because goats yoghurt is vile _pale_ and I've not come across goaty ice cream.
Weezl do you have a list/link to calcium rich non dairy foods?

Kindof - I'm surprised no one has suggested you try the next size up in nappies thats what I've always done when Ed was waking up wet in the night (and superdry are made by huggies ;))
someone told me babies only need 1 more layer than an adult once they are not a tiny newborn so I'd guess Elliott is in that category now, so I'd put him in whatever you wear plus a vest, I still do that with Chris - I wear jeans n t-shirt with a jacket and he has the same plus a vest.
Oh and a cast back to t'other night Nuk bottles go up to 10oz, TT CTN bottles will hold 10oz of formula, you just need to use another bottle to measure out the water and add the formula in 2 stages mixing it in after the first half

Tia - fairies arrived yesterday, Thank you muchly :kisses3:
Christopher's school sounds great! So glad he's enjoying it x
eta - AF you mentioned Jabs in the arm, Chris has had all his ones in his legs until the swine flu one, which they were going to put in his arm but he'd already got his leg out after watching Ed have his done so they just put it there lol.
They did is pre-school ones in his arms and tbh I wish I'd asked for them in his legs. At least he has a bit more meat on his legs, it made me really :( seeing his tiny lil arms afterwards esp the one with a million things in it made it swell up and go all red  my poor baby!

Well, poops. Husband has just gone back to the hospital. I have an unspecified illness and feel like death vaguely microwaved for a few seconds, and Molly is clearly miserable over something and has been whinging nonstop since 5am.

I think today will be a Bad Day.

Oh no :( good luck and fingers crossed for him as well as for you sickly stay-at-home types :/ is it just 'more of the same' for OH?

((hugs)) from me... Is he in your hospital?

He is, and I'm dreadfully stressed because the department he's in is rubbish and all my colleagues have access to his records. But it's five minutes away and they have some excellent doctors amongst the useless ones.

    Time for lunch, I think.

SS hope hubby is back on his feet quickly, I've forgotten which bit of him it is (pancreas?) can they whip it out? is it like your gallbladder? Clearly my bio knowledge is fading! :p
