If anyone's looking for distraction, I recommend Promtacular.
Aaaaaaand my boredom has now ended.
In other news, I'm mega-annoyed because wanted to walk down to Tesco (feeling sorry for myself and crave some chocolate or something) but the skies look like they will open at any moment.
Bruno, you said it much better than I! Sure we have a few luxuries, but far less than "most" people yet we're classified as median-income...try making rent just under 1/3 total household income!! Anyway, end discussion. Glad your OH could find some clothes...maternity clothes are just SO RANDOM, tell her not to be depressed. I hope to see pictures of Elijah in said outfit

I'm pooped.
Done the dishes, a load of washing, made scones (didn't do them last night), made soup, went to school fair. Back now and my feet hurt.
My loft now has full head height and most of a ceiling and part of a wallCan't wait for teh stairs to go in so I can go up for the first time :j
Now for :coffee: while Amber naps and look up the regs on boxing in a conbi boiler. It's in our bedroom behind a wardrobe right now, but the boys are moving in there and it needs to be boxed in and locked. Luckily, I plan on reusing the doors from their room cupboard that is becoming the willy stairs, see that, MSE. My budget for the whole conversion is £2300! :eek:0 -
Busy day here. Just done all the cooking for the christening meal tomorrow, so all I need to do is reheat. Feeling a bit fed up though as due to the volcanic ash the airports are going to be closed tomorrow, which means noone from my side of the family will be able to come, and one family based in England has also phoned to say that they aren't able to come either due to illness. So it will end up a very small affair (though with lots of food on offer - I may be sending guests home with doggy bags0
