Aimee had a friend here the other day and she chobbles worse than Aimee does... But at least with Aimee I can tell her to shut her mouth while she eats!!!

My Mum's going on holiday on Friday, she just rang to ask me to go over tomorrow and empty her cupboards of perishables... And she's standing us an all you can eat chinese at the new inn... Result!

Edit: And she's going to contribute towards Elmo [STRIKE]I'm[/STRIKE] Caitlyn's going to love it!!!

My baby's certainly getting the hang of this walking lark... All day her little feet have been slapping on the kitchen floor behind me :D

    Evening all,

    Hope everyone is okay :)

Don't mind me, just need a quick rant...

:wall: :wall: :wall: My old boss is doing everyone's head in.. AGAIN! Now she's decided OH isn't going to get the new job without a whole waste-of-everyone's-p*ssing-time recruitment-b0llocks process... no-one else can do the bloody job, WHY is she doing this?! She's such an PITA! He's so close to telling them all to ram it and he'll carry on as he is. I swear she's just doing this because it's us. They create roles and just promote people into them all the time, why do things by the book here? His boss is fuming and so am I. I really do not have the brain capacity to be f*cked about like this right now :o

To top is off, she used to kick off big style if someone asked me to get involved in a project outside of my HR remit and insisted all such requests went through her... and now has sent me a direct smarmy email (not inc my new boss), asking if I'll join one of her stupid waste-of-time committees purely because she wants to off load the admin stuff on to me again, I bet. I shall take great delight in turning her down tomorrow :p

    ... and breathe :o

Rhys has been a bit of a fussy pants today apparently, not whingey but not really sure what he wants to do with himself  He only had a short afternoon nap so is now sparko on OH's shoulder :)

I really really need to do an online shopping order tonight for food for the parties at the weekend. I've double booked myself, need to be in two places at once on Friday and be around for a food delivery. Think I might get it sent to my mum's, she's waiting in all day for a delivery too anyway :o

Gah, why are there not more hours in the day?

Speaking of which, has anyone actually been offered the Swine Flu jab for their children?

I was offered it for Charlotte in March. The letter said they were running two Saturday morning clinics for under 5's. However, I didn't feel happy about giving her it, so she hasn't had it.

how much spice can babies handle??? made chilli last night, gave A a taste and she loved it, dont know if she could eat a bowl full tho, OH said it doesnt have a kick but he eats all sorts, i could feel a bit of heat.

I never really toned anything down for Charlotte and she had hot chilli and curry from an early age. She was about 9 months when my brother and SIL visited and we decided to order take away curry. There was a jalfrezi that my SIL said was much too hot for her, and her eyes nearly popped out of her head when Charlotte was dipping garlic naan into it and eating it :rotfl:

Got a bit of a problem here - Jack just humped Charlotte  She was giggling and said "what's Jack doing?" and when I turned round, he had his paws round her waist and his back end was going. Looks like he'll be going to get his knackers off when we come back off holiday :D
Here I go again on my own....

Yes that's the one... I was showing her a youtube off it today, she was laughing at it and poking the screen... We saw one in Smyths a few weeks ago and she cried when I put it back on the shelf...

Ooooooooooooooh I bought Aveda Blue Oil and it has done wonders for my cold/flu business - clears the head and made me feel much better. Spensive but totally worth it for those of us who can't buy Vicks :)
