Oh and just for info I had just one quote returned from shiply about taking cupcakes from Leeds to Tara - £180

TARA - ASDA have some lovely cupcakes - 2 packs for £2, 4 in a pack. Lemon or Chocolate and they have a thick layer of icing on.

I'm in the bad books with OH :( We have a huge tree behind our house and its on the land of the local kids attraction, I rang them loads last year and they never bothered with it. Rang again today, guy comes out, pokes his head over the fence and I said 'Its the huge tree there' so the !!!!head hacks down all the smaller trees so we now have no protection againszt the back fence & still no sun :mad: They've done a small patch as well so the whole road is lined with 10ft trees except behind ours where they are 4ft.

Of course its all my fault :o OH is now adamant we are moving and says he's going to spend the week getting the house ready to be valued. :( I don't mind moving but I hate the way he stresses over everything - he's convinced we will get robbed.

I'm still in pain and all this crap isn't helping! :(

Lovely Weezl, no you didn't make me feel:( I feel like this anyway! I wish I could just sleep for the next 7wks and wake up with a baby in my arms and feeling back to myself again.

It really is better afterwards Mel :) and your labour will be quicker and easier :)

    You still thinking of HB?

  • Glam - is he suffering from lack of sleep? Sounds like a massive over-reaction to me?

Although having said that he is really funny about security isn't he? I remember you not being allowed to tell us you were going away for a few days.

Sounds like he needs a sit down with a cup of tea (made by him, not you, I hasten to add!) and to think rationally for a minute, Glam..

Ta for the tip on the cupcakes too.. may utilise that for the weekend ;)

Elle you've done brilliantly! Well done for sticking it out for so long :) I mentioned to the HV that I was considering stopping when C turns 1 - she says the guidelines now are the BF is recommended up to age 2! Why do they keep moving the goalposts??

Glam - when I had my first resection (before the twisted bowel) I had my appendix out at the same time and it was about 8 weeks before I was back at work, just to give you an idea of timescale. The more you can rest now, the better you'll recover.

Cupcakes If you have an Aldi, they have pretty ones, but only in pinks/yellows (from memory), and I have no idea how much they are or what they taste like!
I'll have a look next time I go.
