Morning everybody!
Lily is being so smiley and happy this morning. She's even looking at me and smiling when i talk to her
I laid her on the sofa next to me and she's happy just kicking about and rolling into my leg.
*sniff* Where did my tiny baby who wanted constant hugs go?
She is currently staring at her hands in wonder, she's so amazing
Lol, sorry im gushing. I just love her so much
Som, T looks lovely in her football kit! And very girly
I wont let Lily have one, mainly because i dont like them. And also Pompey are going downhill so soon she wont have a team to 'support'
OH says sometimes she looks like a boy in a dress:eek: So he trys to stop her wearing certain dresses.
Shopping is coming later, and im glad! We're out of milk and i really want some. We're also out of cheese which i want too0 -
Bruno if it makes you feel better, all mine have been great sleepers
Well, Christopher is the exception but he has unusual circumstances and as a baby he was great.
There is a theory that I have heard of, (so it may not actually even be real, but bear with me) that until just over a year old, they can only go a max of 2 hours before needing a nap. Thinking about it, it has been true for us.

Hope Glam is doing well, what a drama queen lol!!!!
:rotfl:I am such a Drama Queen! I almost didn't bother going in but so glad I did - even though I said I had previously had a reaction to Morphine they gave it to me and I was fine! Wonderful stuff!
J slept from 9.30pm til 6am :j I asked OH to go and get him and he was like !!!!!!? He'd forgotten I was ill and couldn't lift him :rotfl::rotfl:
OH is being really good and has the week off, we have no food in so he is going to ASDA this afternoon. My Dad is coming up Thursday/Friday then my Mum & Stepdad Saturday/Sunday and OH is taking the Monday off as well.
Will need to cancel the settling in sessions at the creche this week so I'll maybe stay with him for a bit on his first session next week then leave him for the day. Will be thrown in at the deep end but he was OK when we went before so hoping he will be.
I am still in pain and am really bloated! The gas is slowly trying to make its way out
The surgeon said to me yesterday 'I did let all the gas out I promise but you do have a pregnant look about you' to which I replied 'Yeah thanks for that, its taken me 8 months to get a reasonably flat belly and you make it come back'
He was lovely and was trying to take my mind off the pain by asking me to name random things! Plus I cried when he said he wanted to make me wait another few hours to see what was happening and he felt really guilty so took me straight down to surgery.
There was a point where they thought it may be inflamed bowel and require a resection or my ovary which they might have had to remove  but it was appendix thank God! I couldn't have stayed on that ward for much longer, the other patients drove me nuts!
Bedtime - If Jack won't go down now I just leave him up. I CBA with the fight anymore especially now I'm not well. In the end he just fell asleep on me last night so I popped him in his cot. Was gobsmacked he slept for so long!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
This 26 year old doesn't...
Does that make me a young 'un or just sheltered?
A young 'un:p:p
Godzilla. Quality very late 70's early 80's japan/usa kids cartoon series.
Godzuki was very cute.
Ah but usually it is t'other way round lass
Nice to "see" you Glam, also nice to see you are being looked after0 -

It doesn't work for us! V's never really liked naps.
For a while she had her only nap at around 11am for an hour ish. But that's got a bit later over a week or two, and on Saturday she didn't nap until half four, which made her not want to go to bed at bedtime.
Yesterday she didn't nap at all! She was too grumpy to eat much dinner, and went to bed before 7.
I really, really need her to nap today because we're going out tonight. Any tips?:beer:0 -
EEK!! OH just put J in his cot while he nipped downstairs and when he came back up J was standing in his cot holding onto the sides! :eek:A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

sounds like it was a worrying time for you all. hope you can get some cuddles from j. could OH not take him for his settling in sessions?
bedtime- we do the same, if he's tired he goes to bed, usually no later than 8pm. we dont/never bothered with a routine and he has no probs falling asleep. prob cos we're not routine people.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
Does that mean you need to lower the base Glam?! Glad you're feeling better and glad OH is looking after you!
3, would lying on the bed with her in a darkened room work? It's what I do with Caitlyn, it mostly works... Sometimes I shove her in the swing in desperation but I'm pretty sure she's too heavy for that now... Should really get her weighed... Might do it in a fornight when she's just turned 1 :eek:A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Yup. Molly likes to gently hold the boob she isn't feeding from, but if she's just hanging out I always end up covered in scratches from her.
My list is proceeding fairly well, except that all the big stuff is left. Poor Molly has the sniffles too and is utterly miserable.
Hello Glam, good you're feeling better and being looked after(Oh, and post-section I was gassy as a team of rugby players after the post-game beer and kebab, it was so embarrassing.)
