Morning all,
I've got a giggly bouncy monkey on my hand's this morning! Absolutely everything is making her laugh and she's pulled the mirror off her spin garden and keep's admiring herself :rotfl: Little poser!
Glam - lovely to see you. I think mint tea's meant to help with releasing gas, I'm sure it was one of the recommended tea's if you had a c-section to make it less painful? I'm glad Jack was a good boy for you last night too, he obviously know's his mummy need's looking after :A
We use washable's here and dry pail them, they were starting to look seriously stained even after washing at 60. On Friday I put the worst one's on at 60 with a prewash then an intensive wash program so it put's more water in the drum. And I put bicarb, tea tree oil and napisan in, washed them twice and hung them out on the line. It's been dry here all weekend and luckily we have enough nappies that half can be out of use and we still have plenty. This morning I've brought them in and there's not a mark left on them :j Their seriously bright white again which I thought would never happen.
SS - if the washable's were starting to make Molly's skin smell it could be that they needed stripping. I've been reading about it over the weekend incase the mega wash programs weren't enough for our's.
Beenie - Isla use's my boobs as a stress toy too. She pull's, pinches, grab's handfuls, scratches and searches for the opposite boob to the one she's feeding from. So annoying!Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -
Glam - glad to see you're home
I had similar to you about 4 years go, only mine was a twisted bowel and I had to have a resection. Agree with you on the morphine!
Have put a stairgate at the bottom of the stairs - Caitlyn can now climb up the first 3! Do the pressure fit gates have cups which need to be screwed into the wall? DH seems to think they do, but I thought they didn't which is why they were called 'pressure' fit.Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0 -
Dammit Krystal
I NEED the Oyster now!!!! I want the black one but it's like £100 extra. Ridiculous. I was blissfully unaware of its existence til you mentioned it. I do still like the Graco Symbio cos it flips from rear to front facing without moving the seat unit. But they don't hold their value well do they, Graco in general i mean...
(I'm totally gonna have to sell everything i own to pay for this new pushchair fetish)0 -
Jill those piccies are fab, Kian look's made up with his chocolatey gingerbread face.Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0

(my grandad died from a twisted bowel)

Tell you what though... I love mine!
The mothercare spin changes direction without coming off the frame, I can't see what's so brilliant really... Not like it's difficult to lift the seat up, turn it round and stick it back down again...
Yay for new teeth!!
And lovely piccies! Bet he didn't eat the whole gingerbread lol...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

If my phone turns up soonish, i'll take her for a long walk after lunch - that makes her sleep without fail!
If not, i'll try the lying down with her, but I guarentee i'll fall asleep first!
Jillie I love that second pic - nomnomnomnom!
Glam Hope you're feeling ok and you are sitting with your feet up. I'm always gassy, without needing an operation to cause it. I might try the mint tea too.:beer:0 -
I agree Krystal, i think i'm just getting drawn in by the gadgety rubbish.
What colour do you have??0 -
Gorgeous pictures Jillie
he has lovely eyes.
Boo, I had no idea that there was such a thing as stripping nappies, I shall try that and reexperiment. The stinky undercarriage made me really :eek:Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Lovely photos of Kian. Also very jealous of your sitting baby. Alex has no intention of sitting ever.0
