So I guess what I am thinking is could I justify keeping the Zapp as our quick chuck in the car stroller for shorter trips and popping to the docs etc, then get another pushchair, hopefully that would face me but would deffo recline? Does anyone have any experience with any like this? Wish I had asked all this before really, I really need to learn to stop buying on a whim!! I was tempted with the Petite Star Zia at the same time as Zapp but really wanted the Zapp, so typical me!!
We bought the Maclaren when Caitlyn was first born as our moving into buggy for when we'd finished using the big gay pram, but when it came to it, I couldn't bear putting her into forward facing... That's why we bought the Oyster... Which I love... Hubby keeps saying we should sell the Maclaren but I think it will be really usefull when she's bigger... And I love it... ;)

FBB, if you don't walk fat then it's not an issue, but we can walk for a couple of hours so it would be, I like Maddy facing me and I hate going out for too long with my lightweight one that sits in the car.

Eygpt is £2k, will try another website. X

Ooh thanks Krystal I will have a look at the Oyster, is it still smaller to get about with than the big gay prams (love that!!) as I do love how easier the zapp is to nip around shops etc

(PS Sorry for self indulgent postings)

ETA Tara just seen your post thanks. Do you mind me asking what pushchair you have got please.

  • FBB it is then - fatty just feels all wrong!!!

Personally I think it depends on what you use your buggy for but for holidays and stuff you definitely need a recline unless you want to be stuck indoors for every nap time.

I hate to say it but a baby probably has to be more of a toddler/small child before they can comfortably sleep sitting up :o Well - it certainly doesn't happen here!

It's brilliant, really light to manouvre and has some fantastic features...

Tara, Tunisia is cheaper than Egypt and a great place to visit but very poor...

Thank u MFD & Krystal. Haha MFD I dont mind fatty though, it makes me and DH chuckle!! Yes I can imagine u r totally right about them needing to be older to sleep comfortably in the zapp. I could kick myself as I did read bad reviews about this factor but cos I was so in love with the look of it I convinced myself it would be fine. Oh well we live and learn.

I think then I will keep the zapp as our 'in the car' pushchair for when we are just nipping about and I am going to 'properly research' and save up for another pushchair for longer walks etc. I really like the look of that oyster now...

My sister linked to this one on facebook earlier... http://www.kiddicare.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/productdisplayA_0_10751_-1__79893_10001_ It's rearfacing and cheaper than the Oyster...
