Ireland has a coalition parliament, and as much as yes it CAN work and be a good thing, it depends on the parties that join up !!! It can be the worst thing to happen to a country !!

hugs for tia,:( whatever it is, we're here, with hugs and cake.

And anyone else who needs one :)

    boring questions time:

the baby check at 6-8 weeks, can anyone think of a reason it would be bad for it not to be til 11 weeks? (is there an important jab, I can't remember:rotfl:) surgery have requested us at 9 weeks but we can't make it, or the one after. So I'm thinking of going earlier than 9 weeks.

Did anyone bother with cruising shoes or did you all wait for 12 steps and go for 'proper shoes'?

Other than entitled to, which is a bit hit and miss, does anyone have a link to a decent explanation of tax credit thresholds?

    Thanks :)

Kindof: you can use gripewater and colief at the same time, I checked yesterday :)

EA, sorry for the delay :o, yes! I see no reason at all why you can't boost your iron levels with your pregaday caps.

I researched if there's been any vitamin/mineral overdoses of iron for mum or baby.

The only reference I could find was to a mum who died 2 days after childbirth (baby fine) after ingesting 5g of iron. (this is probably tens of thousands of iron tablets).

She probably had eaten a nail or something.

    Anyhooo, you're fine :)

Oh, and a q I've been meaning to ask for a while... will you be a practising midwife/midwifery student whilst having babies, or will you finish your family first?

    xxx
