I had to google it! :o
Think its where there is no majority so parties would join together so they have a bigger party therefore more votes!

BUT I'm not sure thats right!

Beenie - I see it as a bit like a draw between all the parties, they've all got a similar number of MP in Parliament so no overall control by one party.

    HTH

    I found this on Wikipedia

In a parliamentary system, a hung parliament is a term used by the UK media (and recently by Canadian TV and radio) to describe a parliament in which no political party has an outright majority of seats. This situation is normal in many legislatures with proportional representation such as the parliaments of Germany, Ireland and Italy, or in legislatures with strong regional parties; in such legislatures the term 'hung parliament' is rarely used. Instead the term coalition government or minority government is preferred. However in nations in which the first-past-the-post voting system in single member districts is used to elect parliament, such as the United Kingdom, a hung parliament is a rarity, as in these circumstances one party will usually hold enough seats to form a majority, often without a plurality of votes on a national basis. A hung parliament will usually force either a coalition government, a minority government or a dissolution of parliament. Frequent hung parliaments can result in smaller parties staying in power for decades as they switch support between the two or three major parties (this is what occurred with the Free Democratic Party in Germany).

As for sleeping i cant remember who asked sorry! I can fall asleep ok but wake very regular and it takes me a while to get back over? sometimes i wake with a jump and my heart racing so not sure if its nightmares or stress???

Was me, I worry about people not sleeping as it's something I can't live without ;) Not had any experience of people waking up lots though. Maybe you need a new mattress or pillow or you are too hot/cold? I guess there could be lots of reasons.

Hugs redmel, I wouldn't like to be in your situation.

Is there anything I can do about the sores on Erin chin caused by constant dribble?

MDW your Wiki snip hurts my brain. :D There's something about politics that makes my IQ go into minus scores. I just don't get how the policies would work if they all had a say, they all disagree on various things so who would get the final say?? The Queen? lol

    Beenie -

Hung Parliament basically Labour and Conservatives would try and sweet talk all the smaller parties into working with them so form a group big enough to take control.

I think the coalition goverment was somewhere around WW2, it doesn't really work in this county because of the way we vote apparently.

Yip just something as a barrier might not taste very nice if LO puts her fingers in her mouth after touching her chin. Either that or just plain vaseline.
