Pleased to hear that the GB syndrome scare is over, MFD. I hope that they find it to be something innocuous.
To cheer everyone up, the conundrum of Countdown this afternoon was HELPFANNY! Brilliant. For those geeky enough to care, the solution is in white HALFPENNY.

Well now you see why I didn'tall I knew was a friend of a friend who had it and was told "97% survival rate" and months of physio to re-learn how to brush his teeth and that sort of thing. I was vicariously traumatised for you even as it was, I didn't want to make it any worse
Having read some more today though, it clearly can be caught early and never be remotely as bad as that anyway. Still pretty scary though.
Cute baby story:
this morning Elijah found a hairbrush and was clutching it keenly; when I dumped him into bed with OH before I left for work he wouldn't let it go so it went in with him.
OH tells me he spent a while brushing her hair with fascination, before clearly deciding it was time to brush my hair. He got up and ran into each room one by one shouting "Dadden HAAIR!" and brandishing the brush, before finally having checked all the rooms he realised I had gone and hurled the brush at the front door in a rage0 -

MFD, hope it is something pathetic rather than nasty, poor you, it's not nice to have a scare at all.
Caz, you will find that because he is at nursery, most of his appointments will take place at the nursery and you end up with second hand information. They have a habit of just saying 'oh, I'm in to see someone else so may as well see C then too' or are at a school close by etc. Try and get the phone number of the OT and give them a call, here they are usually in the office 4-5pm. They are not trying to keep you out of the loop, they just like to have an outsiders viewpoint who can view his problems objectively. Or thats what they tell me! lol0 -

Then I will have a totally legal car to drive to the "Land of Play" in.
Will put a holiday request in, well more of a shove in face and sign that please.
Also need to let childminder know Alex won't be coming that day.
