    Afternoon all..

Successful shopping trip this afternoon, got everything we went for :) It was the first time Rhys has been in a big boy seat in the shopping trolley (and to be fair probably only the second or third time he's been to a supermarket). He was so unfazed by it, he fell asleep halfway round and OH was steering with one hand and cupping Rhys' head with the other so he didn't bash it on the bar! He does always fall asleep in the car or pram when it's on the move but we did think a supermarket might hold his interest a bit more. Obviously not!

He's now sat on the sofa, trying to thief whatever OH is eating. It's so funny, OH hasn't been able to eat anything all weekend without Rhys wanting some of it. I've had to buy four egg custards this afternoon ;)

Need to make a start on a food list for Rhys' party now.. :)

Krystal, acts of god aside are you definitely coming? I was 50/50 but will make the effort to finally meet you! :D

Anyone seen a cute 'bug' outfit for a 1yo?
Mum's school's carnival float is bug themed this year, Chris is being the hungry caterpillar & mum is the butterfly  so I need something for Ed, I know mothercare do bee outfits but they looked quite warm and it will be in june so need something summery that I can just put extra layers under/over if it's not warm
As long as Mfd [STRIKE]skives[/STRIKE] takes the day off work, I shall be there :)

And I think Ikea might have little hoods/tabards... Possibly resembling a bug?

Hi Claire, nice to see you, and gorgeous pics :D

WM, glad you're having such a good weekend! :D

Hubby annoyed me a touch this morning... He can't see that waking me up 3 times kind of ruins any lie in I get...

Plus the baby was super miserable, no idea why but we gave up trying to cheer her up and went to town for a bit of fresh air... Asda were handing out vouchers for a free pizza so that's tea sorted tomorrow and we had a spud-u-like for lunch... Ended up getting Aimee some new shoes since hers have rubbed her a blister on the heel... I don't really like getting them from the Clarks in the town, much prefer going to Friary Shoes in Lichfield but I don't know when we'll get chance to go there again... Plus I'm a bit grieved that there's only 1 term of school before the summer holidays. I was hoping she'd last another 6 weeks then could have spent the summer in trainers and saved me £28 but never mind... I resisted the urge to get Caitlyn's feet measured while I was there... She can stay in her pretty little shoes that match her outfits for a while longer ;)

Anyway, got a pork dinner cooking for tonight (It was already in the oven otherwise it would be pizza lol) Should go and stick the carrots on the steamer... :D

Marvelous... Hubby plugged the steamer in but didn't switch the plug on... Looks like there's a 20mins delay on dinner!

WM - I didn't look at the website! Just went the way I know to the TC (junc 9) and then followed the directions I'd looked at on the internet

Boo - I always forget about the sling in the house especially now he's bigger.
I might try him in the hip carry at some point to see if that helps.

Right, my downstairs is ALMOST tidy. Just need to hoover the living room and clean the kitchen up again! Its pishing it down and I need to take rubbish out :(

I have noticed that I'm loads more nervous about everything since getting pg though, even just going out in the car.

I'm this way as well, in the last month of pregnancy I felt incredibly vulnerable and the feeling never really went away once Molly was born. I wasn't sure if this was just me, but I'm weirdly relieved that it's not, if that makes sense.

 We're getting a bed delivered tomorrow and the guy we hired to bring it up the stairs sent me a message today to say that if we didn't have a precise time the guy was coming (he's driving from the UK; I told him I'd give him the precise time tomorrow) he was going to cancel. So I replaced him and now the guy's replied offering to do it after all. I'm currently composing an email that says "kindly eff yourself" in such a way that he thinks I'm doing him a favour.

Why is this week so filled with arrant !!!!!!!!? The only saving grace is carbonara for dinner, nomnomnom.

It's all go with you lot isn't it :rotfl:

I didn't take any supplements except prescribed iron and DD1 was 10lb 2 oz. Twins were born 5 weeks early and I was told by the doctors they'd have been the same size as DD1 if they'd had room to go to term.

Been cleaning all day and the place doesn't look much better  I did wash the downstairs hallway walls which were covered in crayon marks and fingerprints, only upstairs to do, which is so bad with the crayon you'd struggle to see what colour it's meant to be

The smallest two monsters are in bed, and all three of them are showered, so getting organised.

To whoever it was talking about fish fingers, when mine were babies I used to give them the cod in parsley sauce boil in the bag whatsits with mashed potato and peas, it's a good consistency for little ones, you can leave it as lumpy or mush it up as much as you like :D

If that's totally irrelevant, I'm sorry I wasn't going to back read all the posts :o
