Thankyou for all the meal suggestions.. Delain, I'm after suggestions for Rhys' lunch
We did actually cook him a fish finger to try last night while the oven was on but he was so sleepy while we were eating our tea he fell asleep on the arm of the sofa so the fishfinger never got attempted

You're not supposed to have the rubella vaccine (it'll actually be the MMR they'll give you) if you're pregnant (which is why they wait until the postnatal check) so do check that you're not before you have it.
Aren't you still supposed to wait a month after it as well before TTC just in case?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

How old is Rhys? Some of these might be a bit big for him!
Our favourites included:
-cheese on toast (cooled down a bit, obviously)
-spaghetti hoops with toast to dip in it
-scrambled eggs
-sandwiches cut into fingers (when they were small) with soft fillings
-salads (cucumber sticks, cheese sticks cut from a block of cheese, tomato with some of the seeds taken out, bread and butter just put together on a plate for him)Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Two weeks off a year (but was over two months early so he's not quite up to average one year old stuff, iyswim)
He's currently mostly having dairylea sandwiches and cheese sticks and salad bits, followed by fruit and yoghurtsOnly tried scrambled egg once, will have to give that another go. I got scones (my Grandma may well disown me if she knows I've *bought* scones!
), more pancakes and crumpets today. I know he likes them so it's easier for Mum as he's with her for the next two days. We'll experiment a bit more on Thursday
He's having steak pie, mash and peas for tea tonight (been sleeping for the last few hours!) and Eton Mess for pud0 -

I know what you mean because the twins were early, though not quite that early.
That's quite a tricky age really at lunchtime! Try making macaroni cheese, it should keep for a few days in the fridge it's really easy as well. If the bits would be a bit big asda do mini-pasta for little ones, exactly the same dried stuff, only smaller! or fusili twists with tomato sauce (you can make this by heating then whizzing or just mushing a tin of tomatoes) you probably know all this anyway and I'm just sounding like a patronising old cow, apologies if that's the caseMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o
