MFD - similar age to Jack as we were due the same day!

Actually scratch that - csh was due 2 days after me and there's a month between K and J!

CSH - meant to say, thanks for posting Kieren's diary! We now watch TV in the mornings and J loves it! :D I don't though - blimming Cbeebies is poop so put Milkshake on which is bearable!

2 days between elena and K IIRC!

CBeebies is awful but I quite like C5, apart from Noddy! I actually hate him so much I think I may have issues!

Bruno, it would only be me or dh falling out of bed......our whole bedroom is a child free zone! The kids aren't even allowed through the door, never mind in the bed:p To be fair they do pop their heads in to ask something if we are in there and I don't really mind that, but they are not allowed to messa bout in there and illnesses/sleepless nights etc are solved by me going to them, not bringing them to me:)

Our rules are similar, and we also have an en-suite bathroom that they are "banned" from. With the main bathroom being out of action, the children are showering, washing and using the toilet in the en-suite and I'm secretly thinking "aaarrrggghhh they're all invading my space and messing up my lovely bathroom" :o:rotfl:

The one that made him laugh? I think it was called Something Special, had a man signing everything on it. He was talking about a car/plain/train/boat and doing the appropriate noises which is what Rhys was laughing at cos he knows them from us doing it :o

Charlotte has liked that from an early age. She can do a fantastic "hello I'm Justin" impersonation now :rotfl:

Craig sorted out the leak on the bathroom and the bath is finally installed. He had a test run in it this evening and he said it's fabulous. It's wider and deeper than a standard bath and he was all stretched out and loving it. He said he wants to go for another bath now :D

Watched Doctor Who and the Pacific with the boys and they enjoyed both. Thought Pacific might be a bit old for them, but they're really into it. Had vodka too and feel all mellow now :D
Here I go again on my own....

Sounds like she wants the best of both worlds MFD. My parents used to say the same thing about my dad getting the "fun" times with me, but conveniently forgetting that at that age you finish school at around 3pm and theres still nearly half a day left at that point...!

I'd brush over her squinny about MIL babysitting, shes being irrational and isnt worth the stress, and offer a bit of a compromise at taking DSS back around lunchtime on a Sunday maybe, and possibly pick him up a couple of hours later on the Saturday? Would that work?

Squishy I'm only speaking from my experience I BF El and she refused any form of milk at 9months (I BF til then). I spoke to the HV and she said it was fine not to worry as long as she was eating well and drinking water/juice etc which she was. Sorry that maybe doesn't help you but all I'm saying is don't get too cut up about milk speak to your HV and see what they can suggest if your worried shes not drinking milk.

One of my friends said that at lunch today - she bf until 13months, as her wee one refused to take anything else. She said that he would get a morning and a night time feed, and when she was at work he would just get juice or water. I guess I just worry incase she isn't getting all the vitamins etc. that she needs, though we are going to be moving her onto more 'grown up' food so hopefully she would get what she needed from that.

Rhys has a Postman Pat and Fireman Sam (of course!) DVD at Mum's, but this afternoon was the first time he's properly watched kids tv here.. I think they watch Milkshake in the mornings at Mum's but it's BBC Breakfast News here :p

LOL scruffy, theres still more than enough of me left to go round - 1st off, still another 3 1/2 to go!!
I am well thank you Glam, I caught measles from Seth's MMR a few weeks ago and still cant hear anything, but apart from that I'm good! When you take your kids for their MMR's, dont let a dippy nurse dribble the bl00dy vaccine all over you, it isnt good!!

I realised I hadnt posted in this thread yet and thought that should be rectified, although my house is cleaner for it I must say

And this is why I miss you!!

She doesn't want us (hubby) to pick him up later on a Saturday because she works (she is a mobile hairdresser - could she BE more different from me LOL!) And if truth be told she doesn't want him on a Saturday night - she actually told me that she had 'done her years' of staying in on a Saturday night!!! Well I have been around for half his life now and have been 'doing my years' of staying in with your son on a Saturday night () not that I mind at all but !!!!!!??? Done your years??? !!!!!!!!!
She just wants him to be there when she wakes up on a Sunday (and for him to entertain himself until such time )

We are taking him back tomorrow at 1pm :o
