Squishy - have you tried her with different formulas?
They all taste different IMO (not that I go round testing them!) We are back on C&G Follow On and it tastes ming compared to the Aptmail FO but J wouldn't entertain that!
My friend thinks the FO milk tastes very sour compared to the first stage - and she does go round testing them!
My chuffing phone is playing up again - waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

MFD - similar age to Jack as we were due the same day!
Actually scratch that - csh was due 2 days after me and there's a month between K and J!
CSH - meant to say, thanks for posting Kieren's diary! We now watch TV in the mornings and J loves it!I don't though - blimming Cbeebies is poop so put Milkshake on which is bearable!

We've tried all the formulas - and I do try them myself tooI don't blame her really, they don't taste very nice. But she is getting to the point that she is refusing to try any bottle, even if it has expressed milk in it, just in case it's the formula!
And yes, it is strange thinking that Jack is that much older Glam, with us both having the same due date - you went so early, and I went the full 2 weeks overdue!0 -

Hmm, I'm a bit peeved with DH. He said I could go out and join them, but now the kids are finally settled, he's inside next door so I can't join them. (don't mind sitting in the garden, but not in a different house!)
We were supposed to go out tonight, but MIL has my neice and nephew and SIL is busy, so I'm kinda peeved that he !!!!!!ed off out already.
I am effed off because hubby has just told me that he and the practice wife had words this morning. For a while now she has been saying that she doesn't get any fun time with DSS because we have him for the whole weekend (well Sat morning until Sun afternoon!!) As a compromise we said that we wouldn't have him on Sat night every other week (which guts us both but I understand her point that she wants some fun time) and would take him back at 6pm on Sat evening every other week, last week was our first week - and now she is kicking off because we went out and MIL babysat and it 'isn't fair' that MIL babysat Benjamin and not DSS???
Basically, she wants us to have him on a Sat night but take him back early in the morning (she says 8am - 9am at the latest) so she can spend sunday with him. Which we won't do - we will not be treated as babysitters so she can go on the !!!! (we did it once and she got her mum to let us in because she couldn't get out of bed because she was so rough!!)
I am SO peed off that my son is being brought into it - how dare she say that it is unfair that MIL babysits for Benjamin without DSS being here??? Why does it matter that we went out after we took DSS home (on her request???)
Ooo - sorry, that turned into a proper rant!! Extended families aren't half difficultplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Squishy I'm only speaking from my experience I BF El and she refused any form of milk at 9months (I BF til then). I spoke to the HV and she said it was fine not to worry as long as she was eating well and drinking water/juice etc which she was. Sorry that maybe doesn't help you but all I'm saying is don't get too cut up about milk speak to your HV and see what they can suggest if your worried shes not drinking milk.Everyone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070

He's just woken up - he's at the top of the cot, in the corner on his back with one arm out of his pyjama top
