Kindof thinking about E's sleeping, do you keep everything different at night when he wakes so he gets used to night time being different? We have our bedtime routine, then any wakng up after that there's little eye contact, no talking and lights really dim. We did that right from the start and A quickly learned that nighttime was for sleeping!
Don;t forget too that E is still very young, and it may take him a while to get used to sleeping at night but he will get there in the end
Yeah we do, he's in his sleeping bag for his feed at 8pm which do down here, then when he wakes in the middle of the night I dont even put the light on (he's been ok going back to sleep in the middle of the night)
During the day he sleeps in the sitting room in his pram (too big for moses basket now)
We are going to try, bath, bottle, bed this weekend
MFD thats the thing though he sleeps fine during the day (if he's in his pramsuit in the pram, Im freezing in here cos cant put the heating on or he will get too hot lol)
Like this morning, woke at 5.15am for feed, fell asleep till 6, then was awake till ohhh 8.30 then woke up at 11.40 for a feed, and fell asleep immediatly and so far is still asleep (in his pram lol, sitting upright)
I think I need to re-say what I mean lol, yes it was totally awesome he slept for 6 hours last night (I even told himself this morning lol, but that is a once off lol, he usually wakes every 3) but the thing is, I am wondering if he is sleeping too much during the day making him not sleep at night, but at the same time, if he falls asleep during him bottle during the day (like he just did) surely he needs it?
Pink - we have, but havent got batteries yet

Hmmm that looks okay, and this is stupid but my one opens into 3 parts, like it's not tall like that, its wide and I don't like change0 -

I love JD, I've got two full bottle's in the cupboard I've been bought as pressies over the last few months. I rarely drink spirits in the house so they'll sit there for months! My DD tried to steal my celebratory birthday champagne last week! No I don't know what you mean actually lol

I like ones like that, because I don't like it when clothes touch other clothes
Only thing is, they are quite flimsy, that one looks worse than the one I have, but If I get a decent one it means Archie COULD climb it, where as now when he trys, it collapses on the douche0 -

Would you like to explain that bit to OH! :rotfl:
We had a [STRIKE]dirty[/STRIKE] weekend away in Amsterdam a few years ago and got a litre of JD at the airport on the way home.
We got home really late so weren't getting the children back til after school the following day - so we thought it would be a good idea to crack open the Jack when we got in.
We finished the whole litre in a matter of hours and I had the most horrendous hangover for days.Never again!

It sounds out of my budget, I know that
I found one the same as mine on amazon for a tenner with free delivery. It will do! I'm sick of standing on bits of plastic.0 -
Ordered, and also got Keira a padlock for her bike, so she can take it to nursery, some toe rag would nick it otherwise!0

I think at 6 weeks they're only just starting to have a bit more awake time through the day, i know mine both pretty much slept when they wanted through the day at that age, if a baby is really tired its so hard to keep them awake i have tried myself in the past,
the best thing i found was just to keep night and day sleeps different, ie kept them downstairs in pram/bouncer in the day, upstairs in pitch black at night, ive only just started putting jasmine in her cot for her nap (she only has one and has only had one for ages!!), and i make sure i keep the curtains open so she knows its not bedtime, thats just my experience anyway but im sure wouldnt work for everyone, give it a few weeks and i bet E will have settled into a nice routine for ya, xx
edited to add - i know how you're feeling, i was basically a zombie for the first 12 weeks before jasmine slept better at night, i found it so hard!! but it doesnt last forever (thank god lol), i would just try and get some naps in the day if you can, thats the thing i struggled with cos jake wouldnt let me nap!!0 -
Eek! I got so caught up doing my photobook I didn't realise the time! Need to iron my top and get to baby massage pronto.
3 that hangover sounds horrendous _pale_
