Local NCT Nearly new sale? I sold mine at one for £5.... they often are priced there at about £7. I've also seen lots of people have them on freegle - and ask for them on freegle and get them:D
Blimey - do they? I thought someone was pushing their luck asking on Freegle for a bumbo - I had to buy mine off eBay for £15!

Sitting here eating my first easter egg of the year (yes, you did read that right), so thought I'd pop on and say hello to the lovely mummies and Bruno.

Elle and Bruno, sorry for dashing off on Wed night, my internet went down and after a few minutes it wouldn't come back on, so I went to bed instead!

Bruno - I don't think I've said congratulations to you and Mrs B on your news, so CONGRATULATIONS!!

Elle - what a horrible nurse. You are a fab mummy so don't feel bad about anything.

    xxx

Thanks! :D It's nice to see you about :)
Elle, I tried posting on FB but it's being funny, so I'll just echo Choppy on this one. Our opinions count for loads more than some nurses'!

    [QUOTE=My Fathers Daugh
ter;32328231]I hope I am not alone when I say I don't like the termination talk. Whilst I appreciate that some like to read and upset themselves I don't and I don't really feel that it has any place on a parenting thread.

Can I respectfully request that any such discussion goes down to Discussion Time :o

In happy news (and in a vain attempt to change the subject) Benjamin's CM was beside herself with excitement when I picked him up tonight because he had been playing at 'going to nursery' with the girls (2 and 4) getting ready, carrying his bag, singing with the girls and then shouting 'yay mummummumm' at hometime :rotfl::rotfl:

Edit - if I am a lone voice I will b00ger off and see you all soon xxx[/QUOTE]

Just cuz of the way MFD phrased it, I'll chip in and agree with her (in a gentle, non-confrontational kind of way ;) ).

On a tangential note, OH keeps saying things like "if this baby is viable" and getting me REALLY FRUSTRATED as there is absolutely reason why it wouldn't be or to think it's not all going fine! Grah!

Wow that's really cute and a little precocious of Benjamin there :) how sweet. And I meant to say earlier, thanks to the young baby picture posts :D they were awesome! ETA: Gym and Gill, not MFD...

Glad people liked the IKEA meet :) on a Friday there is a tiny chance I might make one ;) but don't schedule around me whatever you do.

I agree with MFD too - but Bruno, I can see a newly pregnant woman being nervous of getting too excited too soon.

    Very cute MFD.

Yeah and then it ended up going along the lines of 'what positions do you like?' to which I answered, 'Managerial, well paid with good private health care' and deleted him.

Tia, we inherited a bumbo and got almost no use out of it... til E rediscovered it last month, and loooves carrying it around, plunking it down in sight of wherever we are (e.g. kitchen) and squeezing his butt into it :p it is most amusing.
