Hurrah for teeth
How is weaning going now?
I can't get him to have three meals a day yet without throwing one of them up, though that may be my choice of food rather than any problem on his side! He is loving his half-weetabix in the morning, that's now set in stone. The other meals, he is showing a definite preference for my home-frozen & mixed purees, rather than shop-bought jars. And he's coping better with the slight lumpiness of them, so I think he's ready for Stage2 next time I'm shopping.
Am starting a nappy trial now - I've always used Pampers or Huggies new baby style before (coz that's what I stockpiled). Have just bought some Tesco Baby Essentials (green packet) to see how those work out for him.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

Hi Ladies
Just after a bit of advice from well anyone really but I guess more so anyone who had a c section, although it might not even be linked to that?
2 weeks post Landen joining the world and Im starting to feel a bit more human (getting my hair cut today helped) but I've noticed I really dont have much of an appetite these days. It may just be the heat (as I really dont fancy anything hot) but a comment was made earlier to me about my eating and now Im concerned..... but i just dont feel hungry, im having breakfast and dinner and snacks inbetween, but the comment was triggered by me declining lunch and there have been a few other comments thrown around which are making me really paranoid that there is something wrong with me.....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Thanks Aless
CAFC Are you losing weight? If you're not, and you are still eating breakfast, dinner and snacks and you feel ok in yourself then possibly you are fine. Your appetite may have just naturally decreased from pg level if you are FF.
I would make sure what you do what is healthy and if you are worried then speak to your Dr. Might also be that you're so busy with Landen that the focus is taken off being hungry.
Not sure if that's helpful or not0 -
Thanks hun, I think I needed someone to tell me exactly that....
I dont think im losing weight, just my body is sucking itself back into shape.......
I feel ok, just suffering in the heat and from tiredness, I did wonder if maybe because I dont sleep for 8 solid hours anymore, that it plays around with hunger, metabolism etc.....
I'm probably not eating as healthy as I could, especially the snacks, but brekkie and dinner is generally pretty good.....
I declined fish and chips for lunch at 12, and was asked quite outright if i was "starving myself to get back to pre-pregnancy weight", and the thought never even entered my mind.... I actually would quite like to keep some of my pregnancy weight... as I was under weight before I got pregnant....but it just made me paranoid thats what people think of me....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Ohh... what's happened to MiniMode? No longer taking orders on their website and clothes only available in Boots until 31st August! Potential bargains to be had soon, perhaps?
ETA: Found this...On 8 February 2010. It has been announced that Mini mode will no longer exist. Mothercare is to buy out all of the branches which exist in Boots stores and they will design a completely new range which will only be sold in Boots stores.
Mothercare has exchanged contracts and all stores will become Mini Club from 1 September 2010 which will be Mothercare's new range for Boots.0 -
That's a shame, I used to like mini mode stuff...
