It's a First Choice Hotel, and it was basic but as you all know what I'm like, it was spotless!
Tara - this looks fab, I'm going to bookmark it in case I can persuade the husband.....Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

:hello: DK! How are you, LO and bump?
Hi! We're all fine - taking H on her first flight tonight to Scotland. But daddy won't be there to help. Eek. Sure she'll be fine though, it's me who'll need the counselling!
Bump is growing. 26 weeks tomorrow and suffering in the heat. Made worse by complete absence of any kitchen or usable gardens due to building work. Nice
Hope you and Rhys are good.0 -
Hi,
Hugs to Bruno and Amanda - I do hope your LOs are feeling better soon.
Krystal - congrats on the sleeping and, I'm really, really sorry but your post made me laugh - do you think the phone call was meant to be a comment on your breakfast-making skills?Krystaltips wrote: »
Caitlyn went to bed at 7:30 last night (not straight to sleep because Aimee was fannying about...) and didn't wake up until 6:50am!!!:D:D
And then she rang the police while I made breakfast... That was slightly embarrassing...Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

Morning all,
Yay for good sleep, boo for bad sleep and hugs for poorly kids.
Benjamin woke at 5am and was shouting mamma. So I muted the monitor for a bit (he will often settle if I don't go straight in) but he started to cry and when I went in he was sat up pointing to the stash of dummies that I keep on the corner of the changing mat because he had lost his. Gave him his dummy and he lay down and settled with a bit of shushing.
For anyone else who is constantly fishing dummies out from underneath a cot I find that the curved post from his mobile (which came down once he started moving about) is a great hook to gather them with!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Morning everyone,
We got our tax credit exemption cards yesterday! :j But, it has my old surname on. So i called to change it and she was like "No i cant change it here you need to call the actual tax credit office, they put the wrong number on the form"
So i was quite confused, and asked if she could do my maternity exemption card instead, and she can. Just need to photocopy the marriage certificate, write a covering letter and send it back
But it means OH can get his inhalers now instead of stealing his mums onesI know this is old but I didn't catch up properly and just searched for my name. The link just took me to a login page so I couldn't see anything.
Sorry, i didn't realise that i put the wrong link in

Hugs to Tara, and to Charlotte, E and Amanda's DD.And have you seen the prices of the stokke cot fitted sheets etc.
I got loads from Amazon.com for $6 and $9 each :money:
Speaking of Stokke, did I whinge when Husband lost our pram blanket? Anyway, one of the Stokke staff on FB has been messaging me about the little snap to keep the seat up, and I asked if it's possible to replace it (I've never seen it for sale outside the textile sets). She said the spotty ones are discontinued, but has found me one!!!!
Also, I have something for Tia.
:rotfl: Krystal and Bruno - do all babies call the police? My phone's a flip one and Molly's not figured it out yet, but she was chewing merrily on it yesterday and it's covered in risottoOrganised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Mine have, but not V yet.
When L did it I got a really stroppy lady telling me off over the phone for wasting police time.
J did it when he was 4ish, and we'd just moved here.
He was playing upstairs, I was in the kitchen making dinner when there was a huge banging on the door, and two other policemen ran past my kitchen window to the back of the house - I pooped my pants!
Before we'd moved here I'd had a lot of trouble with the ex ending in a harrassment order, so we must have had some sort of emergency marker next to our name on the records.
They were really nice about it, J was still upstairs on the phone with the operator trying to talk to him. :rotfl:
V had worked out how to unlock the iphone within about 2 hours of me having it.
I have my child free day today so i'm going to have a very long, peaceful bath.
It'll be great to get a bath/shower without someone knocking on the door needing a wee every ten minutes.:beer:0 -
Kian loves chewing on my phone. so far he's deleted 2 numbers, rang DH and left lovely scratches where he chews it. it also wont stay charged for as long as it should lol!! thankfully, he's not rang 999 yet lol!!
eating is coming along well. Managed quite a bit of food at nursery yesterday. they were saying 'he only had 5 spoonfuls' and DH said 'thats more than he usually has' lol!! he had pasta bolognaise, some apple and custard, 2 little sandwiches and a fromage frais. didnt like the salad though
he loves sweet things though. he ate a whole jar of a pear dessert from Boots on Monday. i was so shocked
mum and sis are over at the weekend. hope to be online on friday night though.
how is everyone today??'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0
