The kit is very grubby and there are some marks on it but the CM did a really good job of keeping Benjamin clean for the day (she covered him in a towel when he had cake and snacks at pre-school!!

We can cap that one! A few years ago we were holidaying at a villa in France with its own unheated outdoor pool. Around 9pm we heard some giggling outside, looked out the window and realised that our DD had climbed out of the window of her bedroom and was skinny dipping in the pool AND had left a not so little momento of her dip on the bottom of the pool. So hubby had to strip down to trunks on a decidedly chilly night, and dive into a freezing cold pool to fish out the unmentionable . That's still talked about by DS to this day :D

    That is so funny :D

Thanks girls, I did wonder whether I was being unreasonable so I'm glad you don't think I am!

The cake is out of the oven but I'm a bit worried as it's not very deep. I used the extra large recipe on this page and followed the first paragraph of instructions on this page. My tin was larger than the one mentioned (mine is 33cm x 29 cm x 4 cm) but I worked out the volume of the tin and my tin should hold less than the tin mentioned in article, so I figured it would be OK.

I can see me having to make another one and sandwich it together. I'll see what it looks like when I tip it out the tin. It would have been cheaper to go and get one professionally made :D

I'm going to clean the kitchen now as it looks like a bomb site!!

MFD - he looks very clean. The only bit I can see is on his shorts!

Aww Benjamin looks so sweet in his kit, doesn't look that dirty in the pic either!

When my sister and I were really small we had baths together and she pooed in it once, I had to get out while my dad fished it out - I love telling people that story :rotfl:

DH has gone out and I'm debating whether to order myself a chinese as I've not had dinner and I'm hungry now

    Hello,

I've had a catch up so hugs, congratulations, hello, well done to everyone.

Breakfast - Katie has either cheerios, cornflakes or weetabix for breakfast, once a week or so she has a boiled egg and soldiers.

MIL - don't have one :( but my mum does my ironing - I can't bear it and mum can't bear Katie being in wrinkled clothes!

Sleep - Katie is in the process of outgrowing her afternoon sleep, the day is still a bit too long though because by 7.15 she's a real grotbag (she goes to bed at 8pm).

Cars - checked my MOT certificate for my car today it's due on my birthday, need to get 2 tyres between then and now.

I got a letter of CCCS today, they are recommending that I change banks as I'm currently with Santander who have taken on Cahoot (who we have a loan with) consequently they are in their rights to swoop into our account and take whatever's there to pay off the debt! So I'm now freaking out that they're going to take all DH's wages next week leaving us with nothing to pay our bills or buy food with. I've applied for a new account with Halifax - I only changed banks less than a year ago :(
Proud to be dealing with my debts
    DD Katie born April 2007!
3 years 9 months and proud of it

Arrrggggh, it's too thin. It's only 2-2.5cm deep. I'm going to have to make another one. There's not way that will feed 50 people (minus those who will be leaving before the football as I'm not doing cake until after it!). Can't do it tonight as haven't got enough eggs.

    I really am going now!!
