I've popped in for a quick victory lap before I go and tackle the washing up - I have put Izzy to bed, and she didn't cry when I left the room. A mini-whinge when i put her into bed, but then when I tucked her in, said good night and left .. nothing. Well, a tiny bit of whinging now that I've jinxed myself, but that's it. :T:T:T

Beccles, Charlotte cracks me up... but don't you know that H2O is dangerous .

Oh I am all dilemma'ed, if my <2 year old's bedtime is around 8ish, and he falls asleep in his chair completely tuckered out at 6.10, do I wake him up again totally against his will to eat some supper? Or do I tuck him into bed and cross fingers :/

Haha, we just had a very similar dilemma....K's bedtimes is usually 7pm but by 6.20 he was snoozing away...only wearing a t-shirt & nappy...i opted for the 'dump in bed as is' option, but it is only 40min early, whereas for E it is closer to 2hrs early!!!!!

That doesn't help you much does it?

    xx

I was thinking about your fair day today and wondering if you got a smart outfit for K! Did you have a good day?
Think the meet was 19th, but since it's not been mentioned, I wasn't sure it is going ahead. I may have something on too as it's round about my birthday and it's the cheapest night for a hotel deal I saw for a night away!

I am hoping to go hols in Sept and been stocking up on summer clothes for H in 9-12m, but now thinking she could have outgrown them by the time we go!

Have a great time and definitely put pics on FB if you have time!

Usual overuse of !!!! from me!

    Any World War 2 experts?

I found a national registry ID card in the loft from 1948, what does Class Code A mean? I'd like to try and trace who it belonged too and see if they wanted it back :D lol

Speaking of broken cars, mine got stuck in 5th gear today. I had to throw the hazards on and roll top a stop.... just off a roundabout! Came to the roundabout, slowed, tried to change down gears and the stick wouldn't MOVE. Ended up taking 5 mins to get it out, engine off, engine on... It's playing up when I put it into 5th gear too.

How is everyone? We're busily banging about up the loft. Well DH and BIL are.

    Thanks all
In the end, OH woke up from her nap, was horrified that I'd let him sleep :p so we tried to get him up and feed him but he just wanted to cling and wasn't interested... so eventually he got booby and went back down again  mentally preparing for the 2am onslaught now!

OH had taken him to a 1'o'clock club where he had been very active and played in a paddling pool for 2 hours... I came home with an electric pump for our mammoth paddling pool of doom, blew it up and as OH went to nap E played madly in it with the sprinkler going for 45 minutes. I lured him in and bundled him up in a towel and he just passed out in front of a video about trains :)

On a less pleasant side-note, I have always been very pleased that E has never not even once pooed in the bath... within 45 seconds of being in the pool, he pooed AND then leapt out of it shrieking "hurts! hurts!". I suppose it's good that he is afraid of his own poo... sort of. But, ewwwwwww :( what an unpleasant job.

Tia - I hope you weren't driving a lorry on the M8 today as I got held up by 3 different broken down lorries!
Sorry, H is trying to get at everything at the moment.

She posted my post early and then nearly knocked my glass off the table. Now tugging at the laptop cord. Hmm.

Yes, stuck in traffic 3 times due to breakdowns so it must have been the day for it. Then there was the world's biggest funeral I think which was coming out as I neared the crematorium. Got stuck for another 20 mins there!

Redstar - while you are here, I am sorry, I don't know why I thought you had a baby girl called Anya. Am I confusing you with someone else? Oh, maybe Fishcake Random????? Apologies anyway!

    .

Must be the time for it - the gearbox fell out of my car on Wednesday :(
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)
