Redstar - while you are here, I am sorry, I don't know why I thought you had a baby girl called Anya. Am I confusing you with someone else? Oh, maybe Fishcake Random????? Apologies anyway!

No problem - I agree that its a nice name....

    Any World War 2 experts?

I found a national registry ID card in the loft from 1948, what does Class Code A mean? I'd like to try and trace who it belonged too and see if they wanted it back :D lol

Speaking of broken cars, mine got stuck in 5th gear today. I had to throw the hazards on and roll top a stop.... just off a roundabout! Came to the roundabout, slowed, tried to change down gears and the stick wouldn't MOVE. Ended up taking 5 mins to get it out, engine off, engine on... It's playing up when I put it into 5th gear too.

How is everyone? We're busily banging about up the loft. Well DH and BIL are.

I know not much about WW2, but I know that the last letter in your NI number used to indicate something like when in the month your company had to pay NI to the tax office for you. I think it went A-D and each letter was a different week. That's what comes of working in a payroll company where the trainer is about 103 ;) I've no idea if that is what the A relates to though, it could be something else entirely.

Oh, and I need to retract my victory lap and save it for another day. I well and trully jinxed myself, and have had to go back in - bit of a cuddle, a bit more milk, and a scream when I left, but all is quiet now. ~cross fingers~

Ladybird- a little yippee for Izzy then. It still sounds like good progress though.. I saw your post about the Hat Fair. I love it, and would have loved to have come but I'm in Bournemouth for another Hen weekend. It does make me think that Winch cathedral grounds would be a lovely place for a meet though if people fancy it?

I need to pack but H is crashed out on our bed as our room is cooler than his. Getting pretty excited about Center Parcs lovely outside rapids in the sun!

    Hi ladies,

Just popping on for a quick read of a few pages whilst C's birthday cake is in the oven. My baby is going to be one!!!

Her party is on Sunday and already we've had people drop out/make excuses for leaving early due to the bl00dy football. I am actually quite peed off about it as it feels like they're choosing football over Caitlin but I guess she's my daughter, not theirs so they're not going to care as much.

Will read back a bit now I've ranted :D

On a less pleasant side-note, I have always been very pleased that E has never not even once pooed in the bath... within 45 seconds of being in the pool, he pooed AND then leapt out of it shrieking "hurts! hurts!". I suppose it's good that he is afraid of his own poo... sort of. But, ewwwwwww :( what an unpleasant job.

We can cap that one! A few years ago we were holidaying at a villa in France with its own unheated outdoor pool. Around 9pm we heard some giggling outside, looked out the window and realised that our DD had climbed out of the window of her bedroom and was skinny dipping in the pool AND had left a not so little momento of her dip on the bottom of the pool. So hubby had to strip down to trunks on a decidedly chilly night, and dive into a freezing cold pool to fish out the unmentionable . That's still talked about by DS to this day :D

I know how you feel, i'd be annoyed too, past few times ive done a little party for the kids it always happens and ive come to the conclusion that no-one cares as much as us:p so from now on i think we'r gonna just do something just us, have a day out or something, rather than me run around, spend the day cooking food ect when i could be spending that time with the birthday boy or girl!! im sure caitlin will still have a fab day xxx

MFD - Benjamin looks gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous in his England kit!

ROFL at Molly's raspberries in response to farting.

Fitzio - Caitlin has Weetabix or porridge for breakfast. We used to alternate it but then she started refusing the porridge so has had Weetabix every day for the past few weeks. I am very impressed with Ladybird's offerings for Izzy!

Glam - when you wrote "sniff sniff sniff", I just sniffed three times as I was reading it! :o

Sami - happy belated birthday :-)

I wish Caitlin would sleep a bit more! She has around 45mins in the day, usually after lunch and that's it until bedtime. She has her bath at 6:30 and is usually in bed and asleep by 7:15. She was sleeping around 12 hours, but it's gone down to 11 (and sometimes less) at night.

Hi Angela  Long time no see! (although I haven't been on here much recently so maybe I've just missed you whe I've been on)

Back in a minute...my cake is smelling done and I want to check it's not burning
