You should buy yourself a thermometer and track your basal body temperature - it would be loads cheaper and you wouldn't spend as much time wondering.
That would assume that I am trying to get pregnant...I am trying NOT to get pregnant
Morning all - my cutie baby went to the CM in his lovely white England kit today - the CM took one look at him and burst out laughing saying 'You don't expect me to keep that clean do you - they have a birthday party with chocolate cake at pre-school today' :rotfl::rotfl:please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

EA - Last night Jack had a sleepsuit and no vest. The few nights before when it was warmer he just had a sleeveless vest, no sleepsuit and no blanket!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
EA - Benjamin is wearing a vest and a sleepsuit at the moment. I am happy to keep him that way unless the temp goes over about 26 in his room. I find he wakes up if he is cold but he doesn't wake if he is hot IYSWIM.please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

EA v is in just a sleepsuit while it's so hot. I normally put a blanket on her when I go up to bed if it's cooled down a bit.:beer:0

Thanks, i was worried as i dont want her to freeze! lol.
<---- Paranoid!
I think i may need the 6-12m gro bags soon, she's almost the length of her ones and has hardly any kicking room.0 -
EA - Yes, I would just be putting Holly in a short sleeved vest if it was that hot. She is usually in a long sleeved vest at the moment when it's about 24 degrees. There is a guide further down this page:

Gisi - Well done Henry for sleeping well. Mr Fitz bladder is ok, I hope. He is still sleeping!
Krystal - Poor you. I wish you could sort out Caitlyn's sleeping. You will be shattered getting up at that time in early stages of pregnancy! I remember I couldn't believe how floored I was with tiredness.
What does everyone give their LO's for breakfast (or what did you give them when they were about Holly's age)? I am feeling guilty as she gets baby porridge or Weetabix most days which is totally boring, but it's just so easy as I give her breakfast when she wakes before her bottle, so it's nice and quick. This morning I gave her a bottle first as she was awake and I knew she was hungry, so I made her boiled egg mashed with butter, but she wasn't keen. Ended up with wholemeal toast and sliced banana. She has had french toast once, but isn't brilliant with finger food yet, so i worry she isn't eating enough. With Weetabix, I know how much she is eating!0 -
Morning all. Feels like I've not been on here for ages - been very busy with all kinds of things. Izzy has a busy social life, and I have to join in too
Need to have a bit of a catch up with the housework, but we're going to messy play this morning, and I feel a nap coming on this afternoon with any luck
Any gossip I've missed? The only excting thing here is that relations have resumed in the ladybird household, and predictably DH is now being a bit less of a KH than he was before. Just a little bit. And I have now decided to buy a less squeeky bed when I have saved up
enough survey/cashback vouchers and money
:rotfl:.
No more teeth, but a few more words "beebies" while brandishing the remote control, and cuddle, which is lovely
I think we had splash last night in the bath too!
We are getting there with the controlled crying too - had about 4 or 5 nights where there was still lots of screaming when i put her to bed, but then I didn't have to go back in, and last night she very nearly went to bed voluntarily - she was patting her bed, but then still cried when I put her in it. Strange child.
I'm now wondering if I should bother to try doing cc at nap times. I'm kind of tempted not to worry about it -we are very rarely at home for nap time, so normally she sleeps in the car/in the buggy, and on the days we are at home it isn't really a problem to put her in the buggy and go for a walk- she stays asleep if I then wheel her back indoors and leave her in the hallway if I need to come in and do stuff, so its not like I have to be walking for an hour and a half for her to have enough sleep. I have a few friends whose kids will only sleep in bed, which doesn't lend itsself very well to being out all day.
I hope everyone is ok!
Oh - southern people - it is the Winchester Hat Fair (http://www.hatfair.co.uk/) next weekend, which will be loads of fun for the kids (and the grown ups too!) anyone fancy a meet? It is on from Friday-Sunday - we could eather meet up on the Friday, have a picnic in the park and a wander, or go to the big sunday picnic thing (it is next to the train station, so might be easier to get the train than trying to park?) - we normally set up a picnic base in the middle of the park, then wander out from there to see what is going on.

Thanks for that
So i think tonight she can just go in her sleepsuit, its a very thin cotton anyway.
We went through the inventory of this house last night, and from what they've put, it seems we have made the house better
Just need to replace some utensils i've broken and we should get a decent amount of deposit back :j0 -
Aww, Lady - Izzy sounds very cute with her new words.
Well done on the CC, it's very hard. We did it for a few days last week, although she only lasted 20 mins at most. I still feel like a total b*tch, but it definitely worked. She might complain and pretend cry for about a minute or so now, but that's all. But I know if she cries properly it's because there is something wrong or bothering her, rather than because she doesn't want to go to bed and would rather stay up with us! I have never had to do it at naps because she always goes down fine for those. She just knows when it's bedtime. Can't help you there, sorry.
