MFD - hugs for the idiot at your work. Is he now wearing his dangly bits as earrings?
SJ - Yay for teeth! :T I was really worried about the feeding with teeth thing but 6 weeks on and no close calls whatsoever yet.
*Touch wood* tonight I took Isla up for her bath at 7.15 and she's been asleep since. Every so often I hear the odd rumble on the monitor but I think she's just rolling around the crib.
I wanted to point Tia in the direction of this zebra print dress
I went to sort through Isla's next size clothes earlier and realised she doesn't have a single 6-9 month babygrow! I can feel an ebay/town centre splurge coming on. Actually, I tell a lie. My fantastic cousin who spoils Isla rotten sent a parcel today which is the leopard babygrow, hat and bib I loved on her in the next size up
I'd mentioned in passing it had been one of my fave fun outfits on her and I was gutted when she outgrew it :rotfl: Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -
Absolutely! Right around my living room floor!0

Gosh that is a lot of tests! I have only done the 2, both to confirm pregnancy with H!
God I feel so sorry for KK's kids. The paps are just flashing away in the little girl's faces. And they know the names of the paps as it's just part of their life. What a mental way to live. She's clearly mixed up, but the kids will grow up like that too, you have to think.
ETA - Boo, why has your avvie disappeared too? Are you hiding from people like Glam?0 -
Thanks Krystal
I have the cot up against the bed now but I woke at 3.30 this morning and C had worked her way onto our bed and had her head down at my feet, her feet at my knees and another 6 inches and she'd have been off the end. I had to move her and it woke her up! Perhaps the pillows on the floor trick may be employed tonight. lol
Will have to bite the bullet soon and get her back into her cot. Her sleeping is getting a bit better and I would hope that another month or so and she will be going to sleep without a boob in her mouth (she turns aways now, wriggles and then drops off) and sleeping for longer I think for the past three nights she has not woken between midnight and 5.
Not sure if the Ibuprofen for her teeth is affecting this though? It's stopping her waking up screaming at least!
xxx
ETA MFD, when I leave her at the mo, when I come home/pick her up she doesn't seem to give a damn that I'm back! lmao. I'm sure that will change though as she gets bigger (crosses fingers)
Off to bed now, OH up at 5. Night all, will catch up tomorrow. I don't post often but thanks for being here when I need a different POV xxx
I'm not looking forward to Erin getting more mobile in bed, last night she was rotating round so sometimes I was getting hit by her head and sometimes her feet. Also I'm worried about her climbing out of her cot (we have a bedside cot) but if we lower it it will be lower than our bed which wont work. It might be pillows all round for us.
The program I watched last night about fatherhood said that by the time babies are toddlers they prefer their fathers anyway because fathers take on the 'entertainer' role. They said it will even go as far as toddlers walking around their mothers to get to their fathers for play

Boo glad Isla went down ok. Alfie went down ok but woke up crying half an hour or so ago. I left it a bit to see if he settled himself but he just got worse so had to go up, calpol him and feed him. Back asleep now so possibly just that pesky tooth!0

Aw - is that just because you are home alone? Do you still roll if hubby is around?
*is carefully only using smilies that she can do in company!!*Gosh that is a lot of tests! I have only done the 2, both to confirm pregnancy with H!
I keep thinking that I look so pregnant that there must be SOMETHING growing inside me (other than a KFC mountain

Did it also say that when the child falls over or is hurt in some way they are likely to run around their father to get to their mother for comfort? Didn't watch it, wish I had now. Might see if I can find it on repeat.0 -
