Tia, I have something for you:Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

I thought the emergency budget was going to be worse than it actually was. Child benefit payments being frozen isn't criminal and Lucy being part time means we keep the Tax Credits.0

May have just taken birthday cakes out of the oven
On a totally unrelated note, is everyone still going tomorrow?? Busy day today so not caught up and off to bath / boob / bed Alfie so will be back later0 -
Evening all..
Rhys was ever-so-brave today and barely made a noise when he had his jabs, so mum saidI sent her with a note tucked in his red book, saying I gave my permission for him to have the jab and mum would be with him and put a couple of work phone numbers on it so they could get hold of me if they wanted to query it. They didn't query it cos mum told them "I've got a note!" as soon as she walked in but they did say they were very happy I'd sent it and especially so that I'd put my number on it and they "wished everyone would think of these things!"
In amazing news.. the physio actually cracked a smile () and was "very impressed" with Rhys todayShe said, after all the ranting she's done at me about crawling, that she thinks he'll commando crawl first (funny, cos I don't think he will at all - he was commando crawling and now he's attempting proper crawling like she wanted!) Forgot to ask mum when she's coming back next!
Mum and Dad are taking Rhys to the county show tomorrow - Dad's everso excited about taking Rhys out for the day! :rotfl: I will be at work, potentially trying to work with 20odd rowdy engineers in the conference room next to my office, all huddled round a small telly from 3pm *rolleyes*
Not sure if the budget is going to affect us much... Yeah, we earn over £40k but that means we only get the basic £40 tax credits a month anyway. Of course it's nice to have but I don't think we'd miss it that much if it was taken away
Anyway, I'm off to Asda for squash and football biscuits for the darling blokes at work.. got to get them something to soften the blow when England lose tomorrow :rotfl:
Hope everyone had a nice day xx0 -
The only good thing about the Tories: reversing the increase on cider duty.
