They've made it so lone parents can't claim income support after child is 4.

I've always thought that should be the case tbh, it wasn't long ago it was 12!

Me too! :D It did actually used to be 16! That's ridiculous!

ah that should be ok for us then, we wouldn't earn over £40k unless I was working FT which I don't plan on doing for around 10yrs, once babies are at high school I'll be looking to work FT.

IMO there is absolutely no reason for a parent not to work and claim benefits once all kids are at school full time! A lot of spongers are going to be very worried about that :money:

that's really fair on the ones whose children have as many appointments as mine.. who in their right mind would employ me when I'd have to have at least 2 days off a week just to do appointments?! And what do you do with them after school?

Especially as they don't go to school until 5!!

Cue lots of dead 'latch-key' kids!! ... oh.. deja vu.. it is 1974 again!

Recall the thread last week with the mum leaving her 2 year old home alone.. THAT will become the norm!

Like I said back in April.. the worst few years for the country/families are right at our door! Hear them wolves!!

How annoyed do you think David Cameron will be when he realises that he isnt in the shot and Nick Clegg is! :rotfl:
    I was wondering where he was/is :p

There was a pop up on itv that said lower and middle income families will only be down £35 a year.

They'll just breed again! :( (That is seriously what the odd woman down the road told the lady at the job centre when she was told it was going down from 12!)

Or they'll all suddenly get bad backs and claim DLA instead.

Just read that the medical for DLA is only for new claimants. I think they should scrap the DLA forms, and you apply by interview with a medical professional instead.

I think she goes through my profile. Because she comments on ones that are off the page and from like 12 hours ago! haha
I wonder if they're more likely to come up in the news feed if they've had more comments though because I just went on Facebook and your "We spent 2 days making this house stupidly tidy" status was at the top of my newsfeed (and above more recent things from other people) even though when I clicked through it wasn't even your most recent update.
