i'm not sure if I've told you lot but basically Edgar doesn't walk 'right' he scrunches his toes up (chiropody) turns his foot inwards at the ankle (podiatry) flings his leg out and has a clicky hip (osteopathy and probably physio) so we're gonna have fun with appointments soon! :rotfl: you can see it on the video of him pushing his walker on FB if you want a snoop ;)

in other news if you know anyone with a Silver Cross Halo pram they need to check if its part of a dodgy batch http://www.silvercross.co.uk/halo-safety-notice/

I'm back from Sainsburys with a nasal spray, sainsburys own hayfever tablets and a baby olbas oil. Used the spray straight away and waiting till after T's next feed before having a tablet. A multipack of galaxy ripples fell in my basket....and I somehow ended up in greggs and bought a steak and mushroom pasty and an england donut. I have to get this hayfever sorted or I'll never lose any of my babyweight!

T is napping in his carseat. I know he shouldn't really be in there for too long (or is it ok by 7.5 weeks?) but I don't want to lie him flat while he's snuffly and I could really do with getting some cleaning done so can't really sit and cuddle him....nice as that would be :) He's wearing his England sun suit ready for tonight.

I have a very lush Carpenter in my house today, could really do with a 'diet coke break'!

Can you take a pic and post him on here? It's nice to share :D

Finally got my steriod nasal spray so hopefully the snot will ease. I ran out and forgot to collect the prescription on Monday and Tuesday, went on Wed afternoon but forgot the surgery closes for half day and was late getting back from work yesterday, so they had closed for lunch :o
Here I go again on my own....

Has anyone been to a parent and baby screening at the cinema? You can get free tickets with bepanthen

    http://www.bepanthen.co.uk/mummy-mates/claim-tickets.php

I'm just wondering if it's worth me buying a pack to get the free tickets.

Mine are great.. I have 4 with issues with legs etc.

1 congenital hip dysplasia.. diagnosed when she was 2.5 because I was a neurotic mother with extreme PND and took her to docs every 2 weeks with clicky hip, not moving her leg at all.. you know when you lay them on the floor and they kick? She only ever moved one leg and would cry if you moved the other.

The other 3 have hypermobility. 1 has dyspraxia which kind of counters the hypermobility so he isn't too bad, he is under OT, physio, endocrinologist (growth hormone deficiency) He also has learning difficulties just to add o the mix! 1 has cerebral palsy affecting the leftside of her body she also has a leg length discrepancy of 5/8th inch and her foot is a shoe size and a half smaller. Huge amount when you are 7 and tiny, she has growth hormone deficiency as well. She had talipes in both feet when she was born too.. she sees podiatry, physio, orthopaedics and endocrinologist. The youngest has severe hypermobility, tibial and femural torsion (twisted leg bones) severe curly toes which they want to operate on and I said no because it will need doing again if they do it now. She in toes something horrendous and over-flexes the joints to keep herself upright. She is under Physio, podiatry and orthopaedics.

I have now got them to give us double appointments rather than seeing them alternately.. we had them once 1 week apart.. weekly clinics.. and they got huffy when I rang and asked for them to be together on one of the weeks! I take 2 to most appointments now

As well as these I have one with continence problems, 1 with aspergers and an extra tear duct (sounds gross but is quite fascinating really) and another 2 that are fine!!

bodes well for the baby doesn't it?!
