hope you all had a lovely day together'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
Not too sure Sami, but he's walking on it this evening. Just worried he could make it worse if he spends all day on it in school???
I agree, don't know about your ben but my kids would go into school and start running around like lunatics (as usual) and would make it worse than ever.....last thing you need with the holiday only a few days away.Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -

Hope you get a good night's sleep tonight, Mel.
On the BFing 'drug' question I had a frustrating experience today (once again). I've had a chesty cough for about a week, which is much worse at night. It's been keeping me awake and last night was the worst yet. I popped into my local Boots to ask what I could take for it, since I am BFing and was told nothing! I questioned this, and they said that as I am BFing I couldn't take any cough medicines and should see my GP to prescribe something (needs rolls eyes smiley). I didn't believe this so went to a Boots a mile down the road where the dishy young pharmacist looked in his little book for me and told me a couple I could take. Just looked on the BF Network page and there are a few on there too. It pees me off so much that some pharmacists seem to take it upon themselves to refuse medicines to BFing women, when in fact they are safe . Rant over!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

Had similar experience today with Boots. Needed something for threadworms (again:mad:) so OH went into Boots who told him only a doctor could perscribe for Maddy, carp!!! I went to Lloyds and bought powders over the counter, much quicker. So all treated in one day. :cool:Too many children, too little time!!!0 -

Bless her! Liv did it a few times when V was new. She couldn't be ar%ed with work or homework so told Miss that the baby had been up all night! :rotfl: I put Miss straight!redmel1621 wrote: »TBH, he isn't usually too bad, just doesn't think sometimes and as I am tired, fat, uncomfortable and short tempered atm everything he does/or doesn't do, is winding me up much more than it usually would.
Mel You are far from fat - your 9 months pregnant!, and you have every right to be tired, uncomfortable and short tempered - but it'll be over very soon.
MIL always moans to me that FIL comes in from nights, bounces on the end of the bed while getting undressed, puts tele on, farts loudly etc, to wake her. I would kill OH if he did that, i value my sleep!
V's rash look much better tonight and she's sleeping soundly.
I was on the phone to my Mum earlier, and she asked how V was. I said last night she was a bu^^er, but OH took her out for a drive to get her to sleep, and she slept all night.
When I came off the phone, OH informed me that V had been up at 3.30 screaming and he'd got her up, come downstairs, done a bottle and got her back off to sleep! Unfortunately, I managed to sleep through that one!:rotfl:
Keely Lovely to see you. How is Elliot doing? Is he a proper driving you insane toddler now?:beer:0 -
sometimes o find the pharmacy staff in boots quite condescending.
when collected my BP meds yesterday, the pharmacist commented that i was 'very young' to have high blood pressure. and how long had i been taking it? not that it was any of his business....
yes i know i;m young for high BP, yes i have had all the tests, not there is no underlying reason....well apart from needing to lose weight and exercise more.......'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0
