Working in an office and lots of women just don't go together, I hated it. But I love the front of house stuff.Too many children, too little time!!!0

big hugs Mel. Do you think it will be better once bubs arrives?
Tara - If I had seen it I would have applied! The downside is it would add 20-30 minutes onto my journey BUT I would ask to do 35 hours and do 8am-3.30pm so I'd miss lots of traffic and have more time with J than I do now. BUT with the drop in hours it would only be £1.5K more than I'm on BUT I'd be at the bottom of the pay band so potential to earn more (am halfway up current one and once you hit the top you get no more increments).
Lots of BUTS and I can't believe I've worked it all out - I've got a feeling the only reason it was advertised internally for such a short period is because they have someone in mind. *rollseyes*
Don't get me wrong, I like my new job but I'm in a huge office which is really cliquey and I don't think I'm going to get much support from the people above me.
£1.5k is an ok pay rise for a similar job working fewer hours! Hope the other person is rubbish and they offer it to you instead

Fingers crossed that they don't get the job...shame you didn't see it before hand, but like you say, maybe they have someone in mind.Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

We are staying in Puerto Pollensa, if that's how you spell it?
And Sami, I've just got as far back as this morning, I once had a lady ask to use my loo, weird I know but it happens.
I love northern Majorca.
If I were you I would get OH to run some Johnsons Holiday Skin or similar all over your back for the next couple of weeks to ensure the mark disappears. That is a funny story and one I will be sure to tell all the brides I know getting married soon!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

Kids all in bed and I am exhausted after last night, so I might take myself up to bed soon.....i'm not telling dh when I go, he always does what he wants, when he wants. I made dinner and me and the kids all sat down eating, I didn't even bother telling him his was ready, he never bothers to get it for ages even when I do tell him.
TBH, he isn't usually too bad, just doesn't think sometimes and as I am tired, fat, uncomfortable and short tempered atm everything he does/or doesn't do, is winding me up much more than it usually would.
redmel you deserve to be treated a bit better when you are busy cooking a baby. Me and OH had an argument tonight about how hot the water should be when you wash the dishesStupid things are annoying us at the moment and I've tried talking to him but it didn't work, I think it just needs time.
Hi Keely, hope your nan and MIL are better soon.workinmummy wrote: »Oh yes. And OH did the ironing last night
There was no reward.
How did you get him to do it????
Question does anyone else find that when your LO falls asleep on you they end up with a wet head? Just want to check if it's normal as whenever Erin falls asleep on me she ends up with the side of her head soaked and I don't know if it is sweat or dribble or something else.Mum to DD born Oct 2009
