I don't normally but I've never got married in a strapless dress before. ;) I'm quite upset now I've got over it being so funny! :(

Aww don't be upset. A week in majorca and you won't be able to see it at all. Whereabouts are you going? (If you don't mind sharing) I lived there for 4 months a couple of years ago :)

aw tara it will be fine! especially if you are going on holiday.
If not, spray tan when you get back ;)

My arms are nice and red, I've been out and about today with work so lots of walking (like Lady!) and have drivers tan on my right arm :rotfl:

Put Jack to bed at 8pm and he dropped straight off, no crying, fighting or anything. So I'll get extra time with him at night but less time to do what I need to.

In work, I've been asked to sit on an interview panel for a job which is a higher band than mine. It's in another part of the organisation but I didn't see the job advertised as it was only out for 5 days and I didn't know how to access them. It's essentially the same job as mine which is a bit specialist - is it naughty that I'm hoping the person they've shortlisted is crap so that they ask me to apply? :o

((hugs)) SM sounds like a tiring day!

    3 - Glad V is a little better.

Kids all in bed and I am exhausted after last night, so I might take myself up to bed soon.....i'm not telling dh when I go, he always does what he wants, when he wants. I made dinner and me and the kids all sat down eating, I didn't even bother telling him his was ready, he never bothers to get it for ages even when I do tell him.

TBH, he isn't usually too bad, just doesn't think sometimes and as I am tired, fat, uncomfortable and short tempered atm everything he does/or doesn't do, is winding me up much more than it usually would.

Ahh SM, that's why, I forgot they now share.

We are staying in Puerto Pollensa, if that's how you spell it?

And Sami, I've just got as far back as this morning, I once had a lady ask to use my loo, weird I know but it happens.

    Thanks Tara:)

Oh and I did a similar thing before my wedding, I forgot to only wear strapless tops and ended up with strap marks, but as we got married in Cyprus and were there a week before the wedding they all but vanished:D You should be fine.

Hello :) I just thought I'd pop in to say hello and see how everyone is.

I haven't had much time to keep up with things like this recently, my mother in law is back in hospital for a 2nd lot of chemo (she spent several months there and had only been home about a week before she went back in) and I'm not sure what will happen long term. My Nan had a mini stroke and spent 3 weeks in a different hospital, so we've been juggling visiting them. I've still got problems with my neighbour, so spend most my week at my parents house when not out doing other things!

    I hope everyone's ok :)

Tara yes that will be lovely. We were on the opposite side of the island but the north is meant to be fab.

DH is now working tonight so that makes up for not working tomorrow. He still hasn't got a new friday night gig :(

big hugs Mel. Do you think it will be better once bubs arrives?

Tara - If I had seen it I would have applied! The downside is it would add 20-30 minutes onto my journey BUT I would ask to do 35 hours and do 8am-3.30pm so I'd miss lots of traffic and have more time with J than I do now. BUT with the drop in hours it would only be £1.5K more than I'm on BUT I'd be at the bottom of the pay band so potential to earn more (am halfway up current one and once you hit the top you get no more increments).

Lots of BUTS and I can't believe I've worked it all out - I've got a feeling the only reason it was advertised internally for such a short period is because they have someone in mind. *rollseyes*

Don't get me wrong, I like my new job but I'm in a huge office which is really cliquey and I don't think I'm going to get much support from the people above me. :(
