Hiya :hello:
Ladygrim, hope you're ok
Went to Morrison's, they gave me free yeast
Had to buy cucumber plants, I killed my seedlings yesterday
Four of the chicks are identical (I only know Ruby, lol) so I bought some rings for their legsI can name them now, lol.
Oh and the best bit - I was hot when I got home, so took my jeans off to change. It was only when I was folding them that I realised I'd taken them off without undoing them :jI HAVE SHRUNK :j :T :rotfl:

Hi everyone!
Some good news I have been offered (and accepted) the job at the company where I have done my course and work placement :j:j:j The boss called me in this afternoon to let me know the happy news. In true Old Style I have done a months worth of meal plans & shopping lists since I got home so that I know where I'm up to, and won't rely on takeaways ........ unless I've written them in once a week for a treat:rotfl:
Diva Good to see you posting xx
Ladygrim (((hugs))) xx
Tru Way to go on shrinking!! :T:T Hope the leg tags work & you'll soon be able to tell your girls apart.
NPM I didn't end up watching the programe in the end as DH was glued to Sky news for the debate. Don't let it get you down though the prog makers have to film extreme cases or it wouldn't make for interesting viewing. I'm sure that Noah will end up living happily with someone he loves :A
DS3 has just arrived home so I shall get going with the tea - African red rice, cooked meat and salad tonight!
Have a good evening xxx0 -
Afternoon all,
Turnd out my course wasn't so bad today. We had different tutor who was actually really good, the group has bonded now so we can have a laugh, and, ebst of all, we finished at half 2! :j so got home just before 4 instead of just before 6. Which is great cos I can relax before going out to meet the girls for dinner.
I had some free seeds through the post todaythe BBC Dig In ones - courgette, carrot, french beans, basil and salad. I will keep the basil and salad and give the rest to my mum as I don't have space for them all.

Sunnygirl well done on the job:T
re the programme last night, they were less autistic than Noah by a mile so if they were in sheltered accom what does that mean for him:o. I hope my parents win the lottery soon as they want to buy us a house with a granny flat on the land for Noah when he is older:D.
Bitsy he has settled at school again and is less stressed. As we speak OH is having a head scan for his headaches.....I have had 2 awful migraines this week due to being on periods...hope yours goes away today0 -
HAPPYDRAGONDAY EVERYONE!
:D
I'm just redressing the balance - Dragons get a rotten press most of the time, and I happen to love them.:D
Also, Happy Birthday Stefjb.
*sigh* Mr LW starts a week of being on permanent call this evening. We can still do stuff like shopping, but he has to have the works phone on the whole time, and be at his desk (at home) working on the problem within an hour of being called, so we can't do things like visit the cinema. Has to take the damned phone to bed with him, too. Knowing my sort of luck, he'll get a call right in the middle of .... how can I put it..... um... a Hester moment iyswim.
Hopefully we can get some jobs done around the house over the weekend. Grass wants cutting (again!) and I'd like to get the outsides of all the windows done. I don't do those when I'm on my own as I'm scared to be outside alone.
Meal plan says HM nut loaf with sweet'n'sour rice tonight, and I think we'll have some of the HM lime ice cream for pud.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Hair is considerably shorter....takes years off me apparantly
mate who was with me was not happy as she is ten years younger than me and she said I looked younger than her :rotfl: I told her with being ill I've looked terrible for that long that a colour and cut has just worked wonders! Went to get the kids from school and DH told his mate I was 28 tomorrow...and he believed him:rotfl::rotfl: I'm 38  so my ego is mahoosive
DS-S is packed and watching the clock drag around until its time for her to go to camp for the weekend and then we are off to FIL's to drop in SIL's 21st present. Might be a late one and there's a bottle of wine in the kitchen than is begging me to drink it!

Good evening everyone I am back in the land of 'normality' again I had a smashing time in Oxfordshire, and we had brilliant weather only thing to mar it was a nest of hornets that seemed to have taken root in the cottage where we were staying:eek::eek:.Aftrer finding about the tenth dopey one last night we decided to cut short our holiday by a day and come back this afternoon. I have a problem with insect bites as I have lymphodema and if I'm bitten I have to get to a hospital a bit swiftly.Still we had done all that we wanted to do yesterday we went to Cheltenham and what a beautiful town it:j is I was quite suprised at how nice it was being so far 'out in the sticks ' so to speak.
We also had a day in Oxford which was really surreal as I hadn't been back there for 47 years. I met and married my late husband there, and its changed so much I could hardly recognise it.but we had fabulous weather and a great walk around and I'm afraid I did over spend a bit in Blackwells book shop:beer:(but then again last time I was in there I was 19 and very broke and could only gaze longingly at the book then.) We spent a day at Blenheim Palace as well which was gorgeous and as my late OH was a distant(extremely distant) member of the Churchill family I took lots of photos for my grandchildren .
We went to an antiques fair and I found a button hook that I had been looking for for ages for my Gt Nephew Freddy as he plays in a pipe band and wears spats with his kilts. So of course I had to get a small present for his brother Harry as well, and managed to get a book about Rugby football for him as he lives and breathes the game
I also found a few bits and bobs for my grandchildren which I will give to them on Sunday when I go to dinner. My DGS Danny obviously couldn't get off to New York with his girlfriend owing to the Ash:( so they ended up going to Torquay for a week instead.:j I came home with a nice 'lardy ' cake as a treat for myself which I will ration out to myself this week or it will all be gone:rotfl:I have had so many 'cream teas' and cakes this week I shall have to behave and get some of the cream cakes that seem to have settled on my rear end off before I go away again in August
Its nice to be home though and my washing machine is chugging away as I type.Hope all's been well whist i have been off scoffing cakes for the past week.My garden seems to have shot up. My DD said she knows of someone who can come once a month and give the grass a trim so it will be worth it as I can't do it anymore.Well I'm off to sort out dinner which I think will be sausages and mash.have a great evening everyone and its nice to be back:D

Evening everyone
What a lovely day, shame I had to work some of it, but got home and the washing was dry. DS2 had to stay off school today but appeared fine, but was advised by hosp as he had general anestetic yesterday he couldn't go so my parents looked after him.
Not much os today, apart from washing, taking lunch to work and making omelettes for tea. Need to do the dishes first and then pack for tomorrow as going to London to see OH and watch Marathon on Sunday then come back. Taking DS2 with me, he is quite excited.
Stefjb- Happy Birthday.
