I had been trying to transfer money from the Abbey Direct cash ISA online, but also got the same error 'Error code: EBAN_0004 There are no valid accounts (Linked to your card) available for this transaction'. Phoned the number given by DINGDONG and am getting a cheque sent to pay into my current account. Call only took 2 mins.0

Jimbob86, I hope you don't mind me asking, did you got the cheque and how long did it take? I got through on the number given by DINGDONG and they say 10 days. I have given up with this mob. Opened my isa in May, received one a4 sheet with nothing on it, can't register for online banking and when phoning the number I was given for the ISA team, they transfer me to card services! I don't have a card with them! All I wanted to know was what interest rate am I getting because I'm not entirely sure what product they've given me.
Back to the Bank of Scotland for me!Failing in my savings journey!

            Hi,
Just wanted to add my woes - I tried unsuccessfully to work out how to transfer some of MY money out of MY ISA online, without success. So today I went into town and asked how its done. She said, Oh you need to ring the number of the back of your card. So I went home and rang - Oh, the foreign call centre said, you need to do that in branch, we can only do £2000 a day. So off I went back to the branch to be told I can only do it by phone. Because I need the money by Monday I ended up transferring my whole ISA pot into an 'available in the branch ISA' with hardly any interest so she could then give me a cheque for the amount I wanted and then transfer my ISA back to the original one. Needless to say I will be transferring the remainder out (I've just lost the bonus interest rate anyway) as soon as possible. Will never do business with them again. What's the point in registering for online when you can't actually do anything online.0

We are waiting for the Financial Ombudsman to sort one problem out with Santander, and the Information Commisioner to sort out loss of ID with Santander also. The Mail had a large 2 page spread on Santander at the weekend, does not make good reading for them.0
