At least my kids will be ok if they want to go to uni, as they have insurance which pays out when they are 18.
Yep you're right nearlyrich, my kids know who provides for them and makes them comfortable and secure, and it's 'mummy with the outside stripes' :):):)

Ive had a warm front survey.
They fitted insulation strips, but said 'have you got open fires' when they were looking at a big f* off fireplace with burnt wood in it, left their rubbish everywhere, and didnt put a draught excluder on my front door!
    Ah well every little helps...

I never had a tumbledrier at home, and I don't use one at uni either, and I really don't notice things being particularly stiff. T-shirts etc especially are fine.

Sorry, yes I was replying bout clingfilm and windows... I might give it a try... I don't want people coming round to think I'm completely batty though :o

Can't you just shut your curtains so that they can't see?

But I'm sure they already think you're completely batty anyway

I know what you mean about non-tumble dried clothes, they are stiff, especially if you do not use fabric conditioner which I presume you don't as you mentioned your son has eczema. I don't either as one of my sons has sensitive skin, fabric softners irritate it and set him off itching and scratching.

Anyhow, I find if I shake out the clothes after a really good spin, then tumble them for 10 minutes or so (I'm too tight to dry them in the tumble drier), then hang them up on hangers to finish drying, they are soft, less creased and some do not need ironing (but I do iron most as I find T-shirts etc, do not go as bobbly, and last longer - hopefully, for two sons worth).

Best wishes, keep your chin up. :)
The only stupid question, is an unasked question ...
