I must say when i tried it on in store and for a few hours prior to tht 'big day' it was amazingly comfortable but on the actual day once in my dress trying to sit down i were in agony and around 8pm i disappeared off to the bridal suit to get it whipped off and was finally able to breathe. So for me it was not MSE as i wont wear it again now. Mine was a 38e and was told it was better to get a size smaller to enable all the pull in wanted. Admittedly it did pull me in and give me a figure i didnt know i had.
i'm thinking of getting this one for my wedding, all be it's not till next year and i'm planning to loose a little bit of weight before then, back to weight watchers for me (i'd lost 7st with them before so i just need to shift that 1.5st that's crept back on and a little bit more hopefully!)
the worst bit about loosing all that weight is that i lost some of my boobage too (and randomly my hands and feet got smaller too... they never tell you that one) need a really good bra to give me a lift so i'll definitely have to invest in some scaffolding for the big day :rotfl:
it also helps that the OH is from glasgow so i can drop into the shop the next time i'm over visiting the in-laws0 -
I am a size 18, with 38HH boobs.
I have always shopped at Bravissimo, but went to Rigby and Peller for a basque for under my dress.
It is amazing, holds me in and is comfortable. Takes 2 people to get me in it, but never mind!
Even if you aren't near a R and P I think it is time well spent to go to one. The service is excellent and you have 28 days to exchange, which I have done with no problems - they understand the need to try on with dresses etc.Give yourself a Chistmas bonus £14 a week!
Total so far £280 -

Ooh I really like that Stef! That's the same size as I would need too lol!
I've bookmarked that, as it is a serious contender at the moment, thanks for sharing xTank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
Firstly I just want to say that you definitely shouldn't be letting this get you down, you are going to look fabulous no matter what size you are, every woman is beautiful in their own right and it makes me sad that there is so much body hatred going on in the world. We all have our own natural size!
I'm getting my underwear from http://www.corsets-uk.com/ they do plus sizes and its very very MSE! tooAlso check out http://www.whatkatiedid.com the burlesque/vintage/striptease lingerie is incredibly sexy but also goes to plus sizes because burlesque is all about the curvy women.

Not sure if you said you'd tried it or not, but seriously, another vote for Debenhams. My g/f and I went shopping in there the other week and we had great difficulty finding stuff to fit her (8/30B) as everything seemed to start at 14/32C and go up from there.

im 34h and have a strapless bmaid dress to get into, am going for bravissimo also. They do great supportive but pretty things! You'll look grand whatever you where, my hubby married me when i was a size 22/24 and im a 14 now and he loves me the same. Size is irrelavant, you're loved for who you are not what size you wear, and like another poster said, big boobs are much in demand and many people pay to get them!!Mortgage free 04/03/2025. Thanks to this site and lots of overpayments bit by bit.
Next stop: house repairs, holiday fund, replace our very old cars, more financial security/early retirement savings.🤞0 -
Thanks all - well it's a definite for a Bravissimo journey then! Unfortunatly R&P are AT LEAST 3 hours away and I just can't get there - I'm working full time and have so much else to do on the Saturdays at the moment. If I do find a spare day then I will definately consider the journey. I'm south of Birmingham for anyone else who asked.
I'm feeling more positive that Bravissimo can help me out. I visit my fiance in Edinburgh and the amount of times I've walked past the shop there not brave enough to go in! Now I'm just annoyed with my self for being a wuss.
I think a big part of my proble, last night was I was trying on stuff that was too small - so of course it's going to look dreadful on me!
Sadly the weight is a big issue between OH and I - he doesn't touch me at all & hates my boobs so I'm certainly not a winner - and as he's a leg man he's not a winner either as they are horrible tree trunks! TBH I'm not entirely sure why he's marrying me!
Anyway, just wanted to say I REALLY appreciate all you taking time to post & help me out - it's given me a bit of confidence to keep looking & not just settle for the horrible sausage skin I bought last night!0 -

Umm, please don't take this the wrong way, but I'm not entirely sure why you are marrying him!
He should love you as you are, rolls n all! My OH does!
Has he actually told you that he hates your boobs, and why would you want to marry him if he doesn't want to touch you?
