Put simply though if 07404 no.s werent part of the contract when i first took it out but then later became a problem with Tmobile, and i didnt know about it.....Am i still liable for it?
I didnt know when tmobile and Lyca fell out? anyone have a date?0 -
Ha, success.
I just called Tmobile and asked to speak to their complaints department. The operater asked what was up. I told him I had been charged for a call to Lyca Mobile. I also told him that i was aware of the running feud between Tmob and Lyca. I told them that for all i knew i was calling a mobile in the Uk.
It worked and they have now credited my account.
Hope this helps other people out there!!!0 -
Could you please kindly provide me a proof that the payment have been cleared...like the refunded bill..etc, Since I have also received a vast charge for the call. Thank you! Your help would be appreciated. THerefore, I am going to write a formal complain and than if not solved to ofcom. Thanks! It will help other customers and my self. Thank you!

As you are writing in an open forum, who is your message addressed to - this is not T-Mobile.
If you are complaining about the cost charged to call Lyca mobiles, they are up front about the charges (see their price list). As you must know, different numbers have different charges. Lyca have one of the highest interconnect rates (and are only a 'virtual' operator), using someone elses network.0 -
Lycamobile is a MVNO, like Virgin Mobile. They have a sim card, like a MVNO, and you can port a number in/out, just like any other MVNO.
What would happen if a Lycamobile customer ported to T-Mobile, and then another T-Mobile customer tried to call them and got charged? Would confuse the hell out of them!I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0 -
Think this may apply for 0740 numbers. I have a 07412 number which is on 30
