Debating a totally non OS/non MSE all-you-can-eat chinese buffet for my Bday on saturday for me, DH and the kids - and I might even buy a big cream cake from the bakers down the road. I always make cakes for peoples birthdays but end up either making my own or doing without!
DH has just informed me that his eldest DD will not be down this weekend and I have to admit (god forgive me) but I'm relieved - she can be quite irritating (that was me being polite incase you missed it).
Glass of wine and a nice chill out for me thise evening, hope you enjoy yours xClimbing back on the OS wagon after a short vacation to Recklessness

I was just coming on to say Emla cream as well, its magic cream!! You can buy it from the chemist, and if in hospital they should be able to access it easily (although when I had my tonsils out and demanded it they had to get some off the childrens ward for me!! :rotfl:). Its great, as well as operations I have used it when having blood tests, and also when I had steroid injections into my foot. It really does stop you feeling anything.
Anyway, just popped on to say that, wasn't actually going to post at all as nothing of interest to say.
hugs to anyone that needs/wants.

Of course they will come lovey. They will come for you and your family as well as Alan. Of course I don't know you or him, but I am sure he would not want you to be scared, and your love for him will give you the strength need. I hope the sun shines tomorrow and you have a beautiful day to say your rememberences. Take care, make sure you are eating and drinking. NPM/Floss/Ladyshopper - DS2 will let them put the cream on and is told it numbs the area, but he has a big phobia of needles, this has been going on for nearly 5 years since they took blood when he was 5. I am hoping that this time won't be as bad fingers crossed. Thanks everyone for your support.0
