    Morning peeps

looks nice and sunny outside but i`ve not ventured out yet to see how cold it is, bet its freezing if yesterdays anything to go by.

Got home just before midnight and poured myself a well earned glass of wine and thats the last thing that i remember :o woke up on the sofa this morning and although i`m on my third cuppa i don`t feel human yet.

Two days off now so i need to pull myself together as i shall be out with the houndies soon and then i need to spend a couple of hours in the garden, i know that its too cold at night yet to get anything outside but i would really like to finish off my self watering containers and plant my peas today. These are going to be a bit of an experiment so fingers crossed. May nip out to but a bit more soil for the new raised bed but thats about the extent of my plans for today apart from a bit of cooking and some housework.

I need to dig out my partly completed meal plan and look at what needs to be taken out of the freezer for later and then i should be sorted.

Empty pockets - Nice to see you over here, how were the plants this morning?

Have a good day peeps, catch up with you all later.

    plans for today include

second coat of paint in spare room

    clean house(done)

washing - 1 load just needs to be hung out when its finished

bit of weeding in the garden

    visit Mums friend again

not sure whats for tea yet - will consult DH later when he gets home from work.
Slimming World tonight - I'm a target member so its free;) and I enjoy a good laugh there with a friend of mine, I told her last week that I laugh more there with her than I do all week:D she's a real tonic to me.

DH has had his pigeons out the last few days, luckily no sign of the hawk again yet. He's also got some tumblers which are great to watch - for those that dont know they are a type of pigeon that do acrobatics/tumbles in the sky:D.

Hope you all enjoy the sunshine today - I'm hoping for some time with my book in the garden later.

forgto to say welcome to emptypockets x

    Morning :hello:

Been busy here with seeds, seedlings, bulbs, digging, raking and composting.

We've moved the chickens into the big shed, and the chicks are in the little hen house. There is much fun and chasing round the garden as they try to go into their old houses :D When they're all in together (another couple of months), we'll take the hen house apart and build a huge guinea pig run with all the bits. Where the hen house is at the mo, we'll dig a new pond, build a 2' high wall around it, and get rid of the old pond. More room for veg growing :D

The kitchen is still a state, I need to move a cupboard at a time to chip off more plaster, put it back, move the next cupboard....................it's getting annoying now. We were going to leave the bottom bit of the wall because new cupboards were going in, but we've decided not to have anything fitted (I really don't like fitted kitchens) so the whole wall has to be stripped.
    It will be worth it
    It will be worth it
    It will be worth it........

The weather has been great here. We went to Cotswold Wildlife Park yesterday, as we walked around we chose which bit of land we're going to squat on and have planned out animal pens and veg patches :rotfl:

    Good Morning Everyone.

Gemmabuckle, sorry we missed you Birthday, belated wishes from me, too!

Diva, hope you are feeling better as the day continues.

Welcome to empty pockets, love your ID.

Redrub, BargainBird, and the two lovely OSers who sent me PMs last night, (I'll reply later), thanks I am OK. To those of you who read my rambing last night, I am feeling much clearer this morning I was just a bit overwhelmed. Normal service will resume shortly.

W*rk today, the need to fill Old Mother Hubbard's stores. Think we have the boys' friends today too, so that should keep me busy. Dinner is butternut squash somethingor other as I roasted two last night whilst the oven was on for other things. We had pea and broad bean risotto last night, and M&S teacakes for dessert, supplied by gran!

Hope you all have lovely days, and please have a hug from my suply.

    Thank you Sunnyday :)

Well the plants are still looking really good! We had a frost lastnight, and quite a bad one the night before, but at the moment they're looking fine. I think we're covering them quite well really, still going out each morning with fingers and toes crossed though ;)

Still in a fair bit of pain every morning with my neck :( it's annoying because come about 3 o'clock it feels quite good but I'm back in bed at 10 and I wake up in pain again  Need to try and sort my pillows out I guess but I don't know what else I can do as I've got a memory foam pillow already because I've always suffered with my neck!!!! Can't really afford to pay out for a chiropractor but I have a suspicion that that's what I should do...

OS is limited again, will be having pork chops for tea probably with mash and some veg for simplicity.

Have a good day, hugs to all xx

Its fine and sunny so another load of washing in, will not be able to do any tomorrow the plumber cometh to do the outside tap and plumb in the dish washer. also want to do a bit in the front garden. We went out last night to tie the lathyrus????spelling up and discovered another peony battling with the red hot pokers to survive, I need to clear round it do at least it has a chance.
