I haven't received mine yet, I think it will have been 8 weeks at the weekend. I found opening and switching with them has been pretty painless, but I kept my first direct account open for the interest free overdraft and ease of use. My salary gets paid into it (to avoid monthly fees), then I transfer to the nationwide + my savings. All payments from fd to nationwide are faster payments, so all received same day.

I received a reply yesterday to a message I sent to Nationwide, and they said I should get the £75 today, but nothing yet (still early though :)).

    Mine's turned up too :).
  • Mine hasn't and it's been 10 weeks so I've given up hope. I transferred from a joint account and they sent me a form for OH to sign. It did have internet written across the top but I guess they are counting it as a paper transfer.

Don't give up yet. Ring them on 0800 30 20 10 ask for Flex Account department, but don't ring out of normal working hours because the Account Transfer Team only work Mon Fri 9-5 (the Flex Account department will need to refer to them). Although I had my £75 today, my husband has not, and his account was confirmed as switched a day before mine was. Everything was exactly the same for both of us (apart from the accounts we were "switching" from, obviously). So it'll be a 'phone call the them on Tuesday, now. I suppose it was too much to expect them both to go through without a hitch rolleyes.gif .

Can anyone remember if the overdraft was a reduced rate as part of the offer.

Ive not received anything, I transferred a standing order from one account and once I had internet access I then requested they transfer direct debits from another account but nothing happened with that.
The SO has recently worked though

I'm now waiting to hear from the marketing department as they decide if you fulfill the conditions. Quite impressed with the secure messaging as I sent a message over the weekend and it's been answered first thing this morning. Won't be so impressed if I don't get my £75 !!
