I have just spotted this and of course everyone has the right to choose where they shop. Just to clarify, though, all genuine transactions are paid. When we receive cashback it is passed on, and we use the same tracking as other cashback sites. Like other cashback sites, we are an intermediary in that we are dependant on the systems and processes of our merchants and their intermediaries. We also guarantee that your earnings enquiries will be resolved within 60 days.
I just wanted to clarify these points for anyone who is not familiar with Quidco.
Kind regards,
Jules
That's just not true, I've had genuine transactions declined by Quidco.
It's very easy to resolve earnings enquiries within 90 days when you give stock answers and say that the companies you deal with will not say why cashback is declined. Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!

Just to add my penny worth. I spent over £300 via the collect in store service with Currys. I went via Quidco the transaction was tracked. I filled in the follow up details with Quidco receipt number etc to verify the transaction. A month later it is declined. No explanation other than the merchant has provided a reason. I did everything by the book. I smell a rat somewhere. No more Quidco for me.0

Hi
on 24th october I purchased my home insurance with More Than through Quidco, because this has not been paid I sent an enquiry and was asked to wait 6 months. Since this has now passed I enquired again only to be told it should be resolved in May.

Just to add, I am a member of both. I have been using Quidco since 2005 & TCB since 2009. Have earned over £1500 from Quidco and £200 from TCB. Have had payments declined from Quidco but not TCB (yet:cool:). Gone are the days of "free & easy money" and I can't justify the £5 yearly charge by Quidco so I head straight to TCB. I only use Quidco now if there is no cashback via TCB.

Ive found that Curry and partners always decline payment for collect in store and shouldnt be on the sirtes really.
I have also been paid Morethan earlier this year from Quidco after only a few months wait. I like both sites and use both. £5 admin fee is annoying admittedly.

I didn't realise but with Quidco they only pay you once a month, really annoying whereas with Topcashback you can request the payment. I prefer Topcashback and they do not charge a fee either! No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T0 -
I've always hugely preferred TCB and the news from Quidco this morning just demonstrated why:
Quidco Payment Run
April 30th, 2010
Hi
Just a quick note to let you know that unfortunately one of our suppliers did not provide us with payment in time for this months payment run, therefore some of you may see a lesser figure than expected in your account.
145 of our retailers have been affected by this. We have now received payment and are processing it, this will show as received in your account next week.
We are sorry for the delay and we hope that you all have a fantastic bank holiday weekend!
Thanks
Quidco
So that's a £60 payment delayed by a month when it could have been in my bank account earning interest. Annoying!
EDIT: just been paid, apparently, so now I look stupid...0 -

Co-op Motor insurance back in January is still tracking. I raised a query as after 90 days not paid out. Quidco tell me as it has tracked there is no query it can take up to 6 months for payout or to be declined. I hardly think waiting 6 months is very satisfactory. Up until now always been very happy with Quidco but after reading through this thread am beginning to have my doubts - roll on July!SallyD0
