Dusting done, windows cleaned, DD now awake after her nap and is sitting at table eating her lunch whilst I surf
Has warmed up a little here now the sun is out. Car needs a wash again after it got covered with fine layer of ash but I think I shall have to do that at the weekend. Got a load of washing to hang and I really need to make some Twinks but might have to wait til after school run (depends on how clingy madame wants to be ).
Gemma - Belated Happy birthday wishes to you. Sorry so many people forgot your birthday xx
Lindy-loo - Sorry to hear about your dad. Hope your neice's second op goes OK and that she's home soon to recover xx
Stroppyjock - My dad loves all things steam related and is desperate to do the Settle to Carlisle line some time.
Butterflybrain - I do insist DS holds my hand, he's cried before but this was screaming  Still ASD or not he's not allowed to treat me that way hence the time out stepI do hope it's just a testing phase and a short one at that LOL! I have enough with DD finding her feet too
Off to hang out the washing. Enjoy your afternoonsI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Been out to do my jobs and was just sat [STRIKE]trying not to fall asleep[/STRIKE] doing the reports and there was a knock at the door from a man with flowers from work saying get well soon
I'd rang my boss this morning too to say I wanted to come back to work next week and would it be ok for me to work three 1/2 days to see how I get on.
Rang to thank him for the flowers and he said he hoped I didn't feel any pressure to go back and I said as I was feelling at 90-95% ok I felt a bit of a fraud being off and I can notice that I have been feeling so much better week on week that hope fully by next week I'll be as right as I ever was/or will be!
So I'm working Monday Wednesday and Friday mornings next week - easy does itClimbing back on the OS wagon after a short vacation to Recklessness

Bemuzed its a very well known fact that essays have to be last minute to count:rotfl:
Csarina/Stroppyjock another train lover. My best trip was East Berlin to Moscow. Fantastic. When the train crossed the border into the (then) Soviet Union they changed the wheels of the train!
Jackieglasgow that thread has been pulled which is probably good for my blood pressure!
Diva (((hugs))))
Sunnygirl hope you feel better soon.
Marie:o:o:o:o I am working on a reply to you. In fact I have a notebook in my bag with various words written down (and your name on the front)
I have sadly come to the conclusion that I am rubbish at languages:o:(
My Russian is garbage-its almost non existent now. When we were there(as students) everyone we met spoke perfect English:)
But.......I am going to work on my Irish. I have ordered another book (and CD:o:o) from Amazon this morning and have even taken to taping the 3.30 news (RTE) every afternoon:o
OS wise not much going on. Cleaned the bathroom did another load of washing and dried the overnight stuff.
Have done a vague meal plan- know what we are having but days subject to change.
Tonight is toad in the hole with roasties and veg Got loads of packs of quorn saussages from Morrisons for 90p a pack a couple of weeks ago:j
Have made a (small) start on my paperwork mountain still far too much to do. Have to get organised as I am sure I will feel so much better when I feel on top of things.
Need to get my PMs done soon as well:o
I am going to get some seed potatoes tomorrow:j and get then planted as well. Never attempted them before so fingers crossed please.
I envy Diva her peppers as they are my very fave food ever-when I buy red peppers I always have to buy extra as "cooks bonus":o just can't resist scoffing them.
Anyway, have bored you all(again-sorry) for far to long. will unload washer, listen to the 3.30 news(and understand Nothing:rotfl:) then paperwork till tea time:(
Ho Hum.
By the way if anyone likes Donkeys can I reccomend the Donkey sanctuary click on donkey watch. Magic.
Have a great afternoon,
Take care,

Aw Gemmabuckle, Happy Birthday for yesterday :bdaycake:
Same day as mineeven if your "real life" friends forgot we`re here.
Why not add your bday to the calendar so that we all remember in OSland.
Hope that you had a good time. xx
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -
Afternoon all,
Nothing much happening to-day, had my eyebrows and eyelashes tinted and I feel so much better.
Saw some swallows for the first time to-day so that cheered me up, its colder here but no sign of any rain to disperse the ash. So many people are shouting that something needs to be done but as far as I can see the governments are trying to do all they can but would not really be happy if they lifted the block and people were killed because of it happening too soon.
Hugs to all not feeling the best for whatever reason, hopefully everything will feel better soon, thinking of you especially Ladygrim.
Dinner is pork chops with whatever veg I feel like cooking, think that we have DDs3&4 and DGS2 so should get a move on to have things on the table for 5.
Marie
Good girl Anniestar, look forward to hearing from you, if I can help in any way give me a shout.Weight 08 February 86kg0 -
Quick visit, realised I hadn't been here for absolutely ages. Of course I don't know what's going on, but will glean a bit of info.
Been away working over Easter and been doing quite a bit of sewing for others too, good as it brings in the ££, day job wages went down by 40% at the beginning of the month, they decided to pay casuals the same as full timers, never mind we have no security, no guarantees of work etc etc. Shock to the system. Doesn't matter too much in the short term, but needs a bit of thought longer term. My name is down for exam invigilation. They will pay me for that if I don't die of boredom first.
Still trying to be as MS as possible, one way is to modify the amount of food I buy. Playing the game, trying to keep the fridge as empty as possible, rather than as full as possible!
Gotta go, school run. Hope everyone is well here, see you soon."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Good afternoon everyone. Happy Birthday to Gemmabuckle for yesterday and Lamewolf for today.
Managed a cycle ride home again today and actually cycled up the hill. Probably not a really big hill but any kind of slope puts me off!!
Cold and windy here but has been sunny all day. Put the washing out when I got in at 4 and it should be nearly dry. Will put it on the airer to finish later. Have only used my brand new TD 3 times since I got it in October so that should have saved a fortune! All this from MSE - glad I found it.
Tea will be left overs - HM veg curry and 9p rice (reduced in Asda) and pasta and HM tom pasta sauce for DD when she gets in from work - soon I hope cos I am quite hungry.
Best wishes to all.0 -
 Happy birthday Lamewolf, and belated birthday GemmaBuckle!
I spend today at a local fire stationwith my work kids, they took part in a firefighter for a day course. It's lots of fun and I got good pictures of them taking part in stuff. The fire service are really good to us.
I was a tad naughty today, I got back from work at half3 and as the office was empty I left early and hit the gym instead! :rotfl:My boss won't mind though! It was my second session in the gym and I really enjoyed it.
Not much OS here, need to figure out what to have for tea and make lunch for tomorrow. Pay day tomorrow so I will write out my shopping list tonight so I can stock up on food!
Have a great day all
