    Good Morning Everyone,

Don't know if it's safe to post in case I go back to jinxing the thread!;)

Happy Birthday LameWolf, it was lovely to see you posting yesterday!

Work today, then MIL is coming down tonight for dinner and so that I can fill in a form for the DLA people for her. Carrot and Butternut Squash soup, she doesn't eat wheat or dairy or nightshade so soup is the easiest bet for a quick dinner, and because she lives alone she tends not to make herself soup. Will also make some sort of dessert, maybe meringues?

Hope you all have a lovely day, OS or not. Hug to anyone in need.

    Morning.

Sunny day again, no visible ash.

Work at 1300. Meeting at school at 10.00.

Some friends at work went on holiday over easter. One is stuck in Cuba with wife and 5 kids (some kids are someone else's) another has 2 children in Portugal on their own (well older teens) Earliest they could get a flight was 29th April..... Ouch

What a mess...... I blame Gordon Brown

Debating whether to change internet providers today. BT keep on with the good offers and as I have a rural exchange I have little choice in prices as we cannot get the cheap ones.

    Anyways.... have a good day

Morning all, it is frreeeeezzzziiiing uo here today, low grey clouds and really strong wind, ahhhh summer in the highlands. :D:D

Last shift today then off for two days, I have really strugled this last seven days and I dont know why, been like wading through treacle every day.

Good news is my big sis and bil are visiting next week for a few days, so meal planning and day trip planning over the next few days. One trip for definite is a train ride to Kyle of lochalsh, a beautiful journey in any weather, so looking forward to that. Just been thinking I will have to amend my GC total for this month!!

Bargainbird, make sure you dont give the arsnic pork chop to the wrong person! :rotfl:

Off for a coffee and a bit of banana loaf for breakfast, does that count as one of my five a day? :p

Have a great day folks, whatever it brings.

Morning all................(((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))) if you need one.

MSD - sorry to hear you are still under the weather, hope things improve.

Just checked the bank OH's Scottish Widows pension appears to have gone down:eek::eek: we had a letter saying it was not going up, but down???? whats that all about????? He will be on the dog and bone in a mo to see whats going on. Its more money we need, not less.

Visit to North Berwick this morning OH has to get his nails cut.....£20!!! eeekkkk we used to pay that for two of us. I have gone back to cutting my own, with difficulty due to the arthritis in my right hip and kness. We need to call at Mr T's on the way back to get something for lunch tomorrow. Its the quilt group AGM and we have a faith lunch.

Bright morning, but cold......we put the bedding plants in the growing house last night, so we have both the cold frame and growing house to open. The forecast is for it to be colder tonight, I will have to light the fire this evening.

OOOHHH stropyjock - a trip to Kyle of Lochalsh wonderful, one of my favourite places........

Csarina, yeah the kyle is one of my fave's too, and also Plockton. The railtrip I'd most like to do is the Mallaig line, supposedly the most beautiful route in the world. Will do it with GF in summer, although she is not a train fan as she has to commute 4 hours a day on one of them, so it is like a busmans holiday for her, however I work with trains everyday and still love it!!

Morning, a quick one from me.

Kids back at school today hurrah! Just got back from school run and DS had a massive hissy fit (screaming and the works) as I made him have time out for trying to hit me. He keeps running off and doesn't listen to my instructions to stop. I know he can hear me but is practising selective hearing as he slows down but insists on keep walking instead  I get sick of shouting him all the time, it doesn't make me look good as a CM if I am shouting all the time but I don't have any choice. Anyway he tried to hit me because I made him hold my hand. I have no idea how much of this is 4 year old boy and ASD  How on earth am I supposed to know? :( He's not like this all the time.......
Anyway off to soft play this morning and then back for lunch and then school. Cleaning my kitchen and 3 windows yesterday so moving on to the living room today. If I can keep up with this then mentally I can going to feel better about being in the house all the time and not stressing about it being cleaned :o

Tea tonight is Devilled Sausages and mash and veg.

Diva - glad to see the purple back in it's rightful place :D

Sunnygirl - Hugs, hope you're feeling better soon xx

    Lamewolf - Happy Birthday

Bitsy our daughter is 3 1/2 and the temper on her is atrocious! She too practises selective hearing and is far too independent to believe she needs to hold anyones hand.

I would quite cheerfully peg her on the washing line and leave her there at the minute :D
